The first time I heard this song..I was flipping the radio stations. Never listened to christian music before. I blindly changed it to k-love and this was the first song I ever heard on a christian station. To say hearing those words changed my life is totally accurate. I broke out in tears because for years I identified myself with all my mistakes and bad choices. My name was "Orphaned" and "Failure" to name a few. Through this single song, I realized that those names are not me. I developed a relationship with God right on the spot. Pulled my car over and actually had a discussion with Him. And he showed me through tears that he loved me unconditionally, and forgave me for my past. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for sharing your story. If you had decided not to, I would not know and walk with Jesus, nor would my 22 year old son or my 10 year old daughter. I wish you all the happiness in God's beautiful world.

I wish there was a way to let this man know how much he has changed my life from this very minute. 7:58am on April 29th. I heard this song in my car after taking my son to work. I came in the house and immediately looked up this song and it led me here. This is the first time in a long time I've felt God's loving arms around me. I've dealt with drug addiction for the majority of my adult life. I'e been clean and sober for 2 years now and am going back to school to learn how to help people who have been in my situation. I've been to prison, and I've put myself in my own internal prison from guilt and shame.Now I'm facing the most challenging circumstance of my life. It involves my son and I've felt lost for a long time. Until this morning. Thank you Mathew West. Now I know what to do. Simply get out of my own way. Praise God!!!

Truly inspirational testimony Jordan as I am in a similar place. I recently was a guest of a psych ward in a local hospital. One day I went to mass and the chaplain preached a great message. I really appreciated something my pastor said Easter Sunday. We use the word mistake. God calls it sin. Christ died for our sins. Let's stop minimizing our brokenness by calling sin, mistakes. When we look at them as crimes against God, because that's essentially what they are, then we can take a serious look at our sin and our need for the saving grace of Christ. I noticed the more I used the word mistake, the softer my actions seemed to me and the longer I stayed far away backsliding for so many years.

Thank you for this video and this song! My grandson was rescued by the Lord at Teen Challenge from the gangster life style by many many hours of Grandmas prayers on her knees for his life! He was heading for prison with his so called friends. His Mom and I plead to the judge for Teen Challenge! He's now a journeyman electrician another time he actually listened to his Grandma to go sign up for the apprenticeship! You can all do it! Don't throw away your life to drugs and gangs! You're worth saving! God made you for a higher purpose!
