My son was in a car accident yesterday and the vehicle flipped 3 times. The vehicle is not recognizable, and my son and 3 of his football brothers came away with a concussion, bumps, cuts, and bruises. Which what brings me to this song, my son and his friends weren’t listening to gospel music when they wrecked, but when they turned the vehicle back up right, this song was playing on the radio as loud as the radio would play. I met Matthew about 22 years ago in Orlando. He came to sing for a Youth weekend called "Focus". I took him to lunch and on to the airport. I knew then that God had special ministry plans for this young man. Sitting here 22 years later, crying just trying to grasp me being on HIS mind. The three most recent songs by Matthew West that I've been listening to on K-love have led me to begin praying for lost souls. This song especially makes me realise that my prayers are powerful tools that God uses to draw the lost back to walking with Him. No one is ever too far gone for the Holy Spirit to reach out and turn his life around. A friend confided in me that she was lost for 20 years, but her sister never gave up praying for her. She turned her life over to Jesus a couple of years ago. Don't let Satan tell you that your prayers are useless. As Matthew would say, don't stop praying!

I am not sure what you are waiting for but celebrate you are not alone. God is reaching out to you right now, with hundreds beside you, helping you as you pass your time. We are all here, struggling together. Something burdens us all and we are all searching. We have all united to be there for each other. Find words of comfort. Find strength in your journey. You will be meeting people who would have never crossed your path unless you faced this challenge. So find opportunities to smile at another person. Most will smile back because it is contagious. Then a flicker starts inside you. When you are hurting, try to find a way see and focus on the horizon. Your goal is for the situation to improve. Set that as the horizon so you can meet any challenge. If you stumble, if you lose sight of the horizon because the storm is so rough, turn back to the horizon and it will be there. Be determined, stay focused. It is a journey that God knows and we can't see. But maybe kind words of compassion to the staff and the hope and determination you show will speak to others around you. I feel we have opportunities all around us, but we miss them when we focus on the terrible news. That news is what it is. But it is how we live each day either full of burdens and distractions, or care free during the storms, that is how we stay open for the opportunities. Hang in there. Bad news will give you the opportunity to meet new people who may be struggling under to surface. Be the light and shine for them and others. Maybe there is someone else in that waiting room who needs this song just as much as you. Maybe a group prayer, 6 feet apart is just what everyone needs. Maybe someone at the desk is suffering too. Be there for them as much as yourself. Share the song today. You have an awesome opportunity awaiting!

Sometimes we just can't find the strength or faith. God only asks that we be honest with Him, & you were honest here that you've lost faith & don't know how to get it back. He doesn't hold anything against you. Difficulties & incessant attacks of thoughts that we can't recover can grind us down to the ground. I've been there. Rest in His loving arms, & cry if you need to. Holding back the tears, trying to be "strong" can become unbearable. ASK Him to hold you, & pour out your heart to Him in private. Listen to what He has to tell you about yourself. The Psalms saved my life in the past. David went thru just about everything a person can go thru, & they are literally prayers when you can't find your own. He will open His storehouse of blessings upon you, & restore you. Then one day in 2005, I heard a preacher say if I was the only person on earth Jesus would save me and I realized that that I was special to God. This song reminds me of June16 2023 My ex could have killed me. But I was kneeling on the floor crying out to God. I didnt think he would save me. My life was a mess. But he did I could barly walk . But a month later was able to. Started running 4 months later. I have my relationship with my sister and my sons again. Passed peer support class with a 97. Got a new job making more money . We all have a God sized hole in our heart. ❤️‍🩹 Some try to fill it with all the material trappings of this world but they never satisfy. Only by allowing Jesus to fill that hole in our heart we can have true peace and understanding of what Jesus has done for us and the life lessons he has taught us. Without God we are like a ship drifting in the ocean currents going this way and that way but with Jesus at the helm we have direction and purpose for our lives. God loves you dearly and has a plan and purpose for good for your life. He doesn’t promise life will be easy but when we walk in faith with Jesus he can make a way for us to overcome those hard times. Jesus does promise us we will be with him for eternity if we choose him. If you want to choose him all you have to say is: God I believe you sent your son Jesus to die for my sins. Humbling to know that Jesus had me on his mind, even if I didn't know it or even ran from him. He waited patiently, while I ran away from him. Waiting for my broken heart, all my issues, all of my problems, just waiting for me. Now I will praise him every day and try to share with the brokenhearted, the ones that used other things to try to "fix" ourselves. Just like the woman at the well, Jesus found me, and I will forever praise him.

We all have a God sized hole in our heart. ❤️‍🩹 Some try to fill it with all the material trappings of this world but they never satisfy. Only by allowing Jesus to fill that hole in our heart we can have true peace and understanding of what Jesus has done for us and the life lessons he has taught us. If you want to choose him all you have to say is: God I believe you sent your son Jesus to die for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and I repent and turn away from them. I want to change my life and live for you Jesus. Thank-you that I now a new person in Christ. Last night I got baptized at the beach infront of my friends and family. I have been a Christian for nearly 11 years and had quite a few obstacles in my way. But who doesn’t? After trying to stay positive sense February, switching my thinking from negative to positive and constantly wrestling with the flesh last night as I was getter baptized I said “ God I’m yours” .
