Does Rust Hurricane actually inflict Armor Down, or is this game too old for that

Special effects on weapon is invented in the first Original Generation game so Rust Hurricane doesn’t have armor down effect until Alpha 2.

@@borby4584 It isn’t that late. Original Generation 1 is a 2002 game. In fact many of the system today comes from Gameboy Advance games, such as counter, assist attack/defence, special effects. R and OG1 are also the earliest game to rework the damage equations in a way we are seeing today. Winky’s damage formula is ugly as heck where enemy Qubeley can have 2.5 times armor than Great Mazinger and Haman is virtually immune to non-ultimate attacks.

@@abc2390986 Oh yeah, and i remember that the shield systems always felt wonky until they finally figured it out. then there was the weirdness that was how long it took for animations to be skippable. Didn't R introduce that? or was it OG1? and then it took until D for them to actually summarize what happened with damage

@@borby4584 If you mean just to turn off the animations, Alpha 1 already did that. But if you are talking about pressing B to immediately skip during the animations yup Original Generation 1 is the first game that did it and I don’t remember it is possible to interrupt animation in R.
