"The Mark of the Beast." Sermon on Revelation

Appreciate the humility that you approach these texts with, Pastor Matt. So many teachers mash their bibles and their news sources together and then confidently proclaim they know EXACTLY what is going to happen in the future because China did this or Russia did that. Knowing that the Book of Revelation belongs to every generation of Believers removes the Christian style fortune telling. Whenever the topic of the mark of the beast comes up, I tell people that if you are not sealed by the Holy Spirit you are already marked by the Beast. It is not something that is merely future, it is already existing and has existed. Thanks again Pastor Matt.

Matt, don't be afraid to preach the word of God in its entirety. Preach with the power of the Holy Spirit. Preach to let everybody hear the voice of Almighty God. People need to hear the power of The Book of Revelation. Let your voice give glory to God.

Hey Pastor Matt. Great sermon and thank you for the faithful preaching. I can't remember when, or who I first heard the correlation between Revelation 13:17 and Deuteronomy 6:4-9 from. But it really helped me to get a firm foundation in understanding this passage, or at least what I think is probably the main idea concerning this passage. Not about who the future antichrist will be or what microchip is the mark, but the spiritual reality that those who belong to the world and love this world are under the sway of the evil one, and Christians have been redeemed and washed and given a new identity in Christ and we bear the word of God in our hearts and minds and seek to walk in obedience to our Lord going against the grain of the culture and fighting the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. I thought of this passage in application to the sermon. How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. Psalm 119:9‭-‬16 ESV

Pastor, I’m curious why you chose to point to Nero, but ignored the most common and widely held Protestant view claiming LATENOIS (Latin man); not to mention it’s probably also the oldest, subscribed to by Irenaeus?

Eek! I just heard for the first minute or so, but it hit me - I wonder if 666 as the number of man = the number for imperfection/sin? 7 is usually seen as the number of perfection/completion, so maybe the lacking/falling short is part of it? I'll have to listen to this when I'm done with work stuff.

Yes, often numbers are used as symbols in the Bible. Seven represents completeness or perfection. Six, being one short of seven can denote something incomplete or flawed in God’s eyes. The Bible sometimes stresses a matter by stating it three times. So the name 666 emphasizes that God views human political systems as gross failures. They have been unable to bring last peace and security-things that only God’s Kingdom can achieve.

If I recall, it goes back to the letters to Pergamos and Thyatira. The Christians were in poverty, not thriving economically because they would not join the pagan trade guilds. Therefore their "buying and selling" or doing business was greatly curtailed.

I think one can extrapolate from the current ESG initiatives which are being forced onto businesses globally…this will be extended to the individual.

Buying and selling has to do with the everyday activities and so we shouldn’t allow ourselves to be pressured into letting the wild beast rule our lives. (The wild beast symbolizes the worldwide political system) By accepting the mark of the beast on our right hand or forehead means allowing the wild beast to control our actions or affect our thinking.

GOD'S WRATH HAS ARRIVED DEPOPULATION (THE APOCALYPSE) Throughout history God has shown his wrath upon mankind numerous times. As you can see below, these are just a few occasions that God's wrath came upon mankind: He did not spare the ancient world when He brought the flood on its ungodly people. He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction, reducing them to ashes as an example of what is coming on the ungodly (2 Peter 2:5-7). The Lord says, “I will use Assyria like a stick. In my anger I will use Assyria to punish Israel. I will send Assyria to fight against the people who do evil. I am angry with them, and I will command Assyria to fight against them. Assyria will defeat them and take their wealth (Isaiah 10:5-6). As you can see, God does get angry, and wrathful, with his people, when they become wicked and ungodly. God became very angry with his people the Jews, on numerous occasions, and God on numerous occasions used Nations, as a tool of his wrath, to punish his people. TODAY GOD IS WRATHFUL WITH HIS PEOPLE CHRISTIANS Today God's people are Christians: You are all sons of God through faith in (Yeshua) Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:26-29). Sadly Christianity has become Apostate and ungodly. Their churches are full of abominations, false teachings, and pharmakeia. God has commanded his people to come out of these churches: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues. For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities (Revelation 18:4-5). God is commanding his people to get out of the visible part of Christianity and worship at home in spirit and truth: But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him (John 4:23). The majority of the Churches today pimp pharmakeia (Vaccines, Gene Therapy). The Churches say it is a moral obligation to take the corona vaccine, they say it is an act of love, but it is actually depopulation through pharmakeia. Pharmakeia is a gross sin, a abomination, it is mass murder, mass depopulation, mass sterilization and mass genetic modification: The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and pharmakeia; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). Now the rest of mankind.who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. Furthermore, they did not repent of their murder, pharmakeia, sexual immorality, and theft (Revelation 9:20-21). GOD PRE-WARNED ALL OF US ABOUT DEPOPULATION THROUGH PHARMAKEIA THE APOCALYPSE Today God is using the Western Empire (The Beast) and it's Image (The United Nations) as a tool of his wrath directed against his people Apostate Christianity. God's wrath has arrived in the form of Depopulation through War, Famine, and Death (pharmakeia). Because Christians unrepentantly practice pharmakeia, God will use it against them. God has allowed the Western Empire to become dark and tyrannical, with lockdowns, 15 minute city's, economic devastation, WW3, famine, death, pharmakeia, the apocalypse. In the book of Revelation 18:23. Yeshua uses the Greek word (((pharmakeia))) sorcery, to reveal to us the main thing that will be used to deceive ALL people in our Age (time), is a well organized system of administering poisonous drugs, vaccines, medications, to billions of people that are not only toxic to the organs of the body, but have direct negative effects on the brain and reproductive system (Revelation 18:23). THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS COMING A VACCINE PASSPORT CONNECTED TO A DIGITAL ID AND DIGITAL CURRENCY And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark-the name of the beast or the number of its name (Revelation 13:16-17). And a third angel followed them, calling out in a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives its mark on his forehead or on his hand, he too will drink the wine of God’s anger, poured undiluted into the cup of His wrath (Revelation 14:9-11). The Beast system will require the continuous practice of the gross sin pharmakeia (Vaccines) to buy sell work or play (A Vaccine Passport). If you do not want the Mark of the Beast then you must simply: Keep the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua Jesus (Revelation 14:12)
