A pleasure to watch you in action, as always. Even though they didn't react strongly in the beginning I still got the impression they were really enjoying the performance. The grocery items/almond selection seemed to get them going. So well executed I may need to adopt that one. Straightforward and hard-hitting.

This isn't a criticsm but have you ever considered using a dr*** o** (rhymes with bride shout) sharpie for the clock trick? Like hold the clock card upside down, spin it around and have them "draw a line from the center" without looking? Just an idea. lmk what you think! love your stuff mate!
@MatthewFurman6 жыл бұрын

Incredible slight of hand but I wish you would let the trick marinate a bit. The presentation of each trick so so fast that it’s over by the time you you figured out what was suppose to happen.

Hi Mathew. Your routines are amazing. I realize you have over 20 years of experience in magic,and your HOT one coming is an amazing branding technique, but i think sometimes you go over board with this phrase and use it too often. I thought it was just me who had this view, but i showed your videos to a few friends of mine and they too mentioned this . I hope you don't take this the wrong way. Also I would be great-full if you can take some time to look at few of my performance on youtube and give me some pointers on how to improve my show.
@MatthewFurman6 жыл бұрын
Hi vipul, thank you for your feedback. Yeah, maybe I go overboard sometimes with "That's a Hot One." I checked out your performances. Nice job! Make sure when on stage to stand still and not move around too much. Keep practicing and keep up the good work.

I'm still unsure how your character works. It just seems like you force your magic on people. Telling them, "come on that's a hot one." Is like fishing for applause. Maybe if you slowed down your tricks and gave your audience time to react it might be better. I don't see minds blown, I just see confused spectators.

What inspired you to start magic? And how do you handle the stress.
@MatthewFurman6 жыл бұрын
Hi Seijuro Akashi 😀 Great questions. I fell in love with close up magic when in college in Buffalo. I saw the greatest card magician in the world. There is stress involved. That is handled with experience.
@seijuroakashi91786 жыл бұрын
Matthew Furman What do you consider your favorite trick? And do you remember what close up tricks truly inspired you to start learning it?
@MatthewFurman6 жыл бұрын
Hi Seijuro Akashi , I love card tricks, they are my favorite. Can't remember any specific tricks. All good close up magic performed well has inspired me.
