I relate to her so much when she said she hated the Hispanic/Latin heritage. I'm 21 now and only just started to embrace that part of me. I hate that it took me so long to really love that part of myself and my family. I know and see now it really hurt my language learning and the closeness with my family. I'm trying to pick up the pieces and rebuild that part of me I've been missing for the past 21 years. I hope Salina has and continues to find and love that part of her as well ❤

I rewatched wigloose last week and she was my FAVORITE part. Every time , EVERY TIME the camera panned to a reaction while on stage, it was salina. She’s an amazing , we don’t deserve her. Everyone go watch her new song “BOOTS”!
@pembrokelove11 ай бұрын
Yes. I thought Salina ATE Wigloose. She had no business in the bottom - no hate to Luxx, but many of the “choices” for which she was commended were right there in the script/blocking. It made no sense to give all the flowers to Luxx when those two were scene partners and played beautifully off of one another. They both deserved the praise.

My husband of 34 years came out in West Hollywood when he was in medical school at UCLA in the early 1980s. He’s of Mexican decent and is a very succesful Medical Doctor here in San Diego. He still, until this day, does not go out into the sun, if he can avoid it, as to not get darker. Girl you aren’t the only one who is, or has been, affected by that West Hollywood stereo type. You are beautiful just as you are, even if the sun gets you darker. Your culture is beautiful. Be you, we love you. Oh and I’m sober too. 😘

I am so glad that you did this video of Salina Estitties, it’s so unfortunate how toxic and vile the fandom can be. I always say it, the drag queens are out there doing their thing and hustling. They don’t need that toxicity, if you have nothing positive to contribute, move on. I love drag race, but the fandom, I honestly cannot deal with them.

I am so disappointed in humans when I hear how toxic and horrid they can be such as the "fans" putting her down. Now, seeing this interview, I love Salina even more! It makes so much sense when she talked about her sobriety. She is having genuine feeling and showing them, she isn't thrashing out at others in that caustic way that some queens do. She seems so sweet and likable. Thank you Salina for repping your Latin culture, the queer sober community, and being willing to be vulnerable! Thanks for doing this interview, Matt! It's disgusting how some of the "fans" can act toward the contestants. First and foremost, it's fucking drag. It's meant to be fun, expressive, entertaining - sure there are the fashion queens, the comedy queens, the song and dancing queens, but just because a specific entertainer isn't your cup of tea doesn't mean you need to be nasty. I never found Salina to be "fake". Loud and over the top, sure and it was entertaining. And Salina EsTitties doesn't own the corner on loud and over the top when it comes to drag - there are plenty of others that share that space. Thank you for the humor and entertainment during Season 15. You make that Golden Boot a prize to be had! Most importantly, so happy to hear you're a "friend" of Bill W & Dr Bob too!

i really feel that we can't call the people who send hate and awful messages to queens "fans" of drag race. actual fans would appreciate and respect all styles of drag and the queens who represent them. i fell in love with salina instantly. the gloves outfit ? i adored that so much ! that's DRAG ! the big gloves, the bratz doll hair ? the outfit itself ? i live for all of it ! salina's youtube channel has her music videos and her horror parodies, which are everything ! i completely understood her venting about the ross matthews thing, because it's really tough to have someone who doesn't do drag, let alone get up on stage and present a look to the judges, say what does and doesn't fit drag "standards." salina talking about dealing with emotions while being sober is such an important point, that i can't express enough. it's so easy to self-medicate with something that's only making us worse. using while having "nothing to lose" hit home in so many ways, i really just wanted to hug her. i truly hope to have the honor of seeing salina perform in person. she's so nice, so creative, so wholesome. as soon as i saw her apartment in this video, i was like, "omg the famous set of 'ustitties' and the 'new rules' videos !" i love her so much, and it's infuriating for someone as kind and talented as her to get such ridiculous, unnecessary, and unwanted feedback from people who shouldn't even be considered fans. on a side note, though, i feel like there's so many different merch ideas salina could be running with, now knowing that she loves merch ! there are like 4 different merch ideas off the top of my head that she could sell and i'd buy (and i already bought her bday jersey and highly recommend, it's gorgeous !). she's lovely, i love her. the end. edit: also shoutout to her snatch game performance, when she pointed to ru and said "you did this !" i was laughing way too hard at that.

I can relate with the story so much, I lost my mother as well and to see Salina break down talking about it, my tears are running. And the way she protected her mother from any negative comments. People need get a grip. losing one's mother is the toughest thing. I always said I wouldn't wish the pain I felt when my mother died on my worst enemy. To even think people would leave negative comments for her when she just lost her mother is simply nasty and disgusting. Those people should be ashamed of themselves...
