Years ago there was a guitar player by the name of Lenny Breau. He was called the world's best guitar player by people like Chet Atkens. He learned to play by listening to recordings of Les Paul. These recordings were double tracked, something unknown at the time. Breau thought Les Paul was playing both guitar parts at the same time and taught himself to play that. So playing more than one guitar part at the same time is not particularly new. Flamenco players often play bass and lead at the same time. Having said that, Alip's playing is totally amazing, as he uses techniques that cover a range of them derived from a broad spectrum of styles. His electric pickup also allows his harmonic elements to shine through which a purely miked acoustic would find much more difficult.

yes. compare the minutes to 6:35 and 14:50. When the solo is played, Alip arranges it beautifully. Many cover guitarists have played this, but alip is the best when it comes to converting to acoustic guitar

All you need to know, this man is very closed off from the world of social media, have you ever heard him ask to subscribe to his KZbin channel? He even closed his Facebook and Instagram accounts when too many people started following him. many media tried to chase him but he always refused, because he was not in pursuit of fame. even many famous musicians and artists in this country who tried to approach him but he kept avoiding. because he just wants to entertain with his ability without losing time for his family and God.
