I have one (hbx 16889) & I have it upgraded with a 2845 5900kv motor, & a bl30 esc. It tops out at 51mph now. This little thing at 50+mph is surely a handful to drive.

Just got one today and charging batts lol yes u need to have inrunner power for edf cars boats it's just better less heat on the esc less stress on lipos as well and much more rpms versus a outrunner thank god inrunner on this model

hey , im new to rc . im looking for a basher or buggy under 200 to see if i like it before i spend more. something atleast 1/12 and 4wd. doesnt have to be brushless but have plenty of power. any advice? i been looking for more info on the new wt 1/10 buggy but the info is limited. i havent really found a basher yet anyone recommends at that price most seem to have problems . thanks

Awesome! Everything in the video was straight out of the box, I only changed the Connectors to suit my batteries. So no, I can't think of anything it needs. A general check over of nuts and screws is always good for any rc car (make sure everything is screwed down all the way etc..)

Oh me too dude, I used to race rc cars about 10 years ago as a teenager, I got out of it as I got older but its found it's way back to me haha and even in 10 years, the technology has come so far. As for the full throttle stickers, they aren't here yet, I have hunted down the best stickers I could as I wanted them to be cmgood but affordable, they should be here in two weeks, I will announce it when they arrive 😀 so if you are subscribed, you should see it, if not, I'll re comment on this post for you!
