Love the run but I absolutely don't like how you played that Q9 suited hand. once the turn goes check, check and you river the queen you should 100% be betting big there. from the big blind you have so many hand that get to that river with very little showdown value with some you should bluff so you shouldn't be checking. he has so many aces and kings in that spot that will have to pay off a bet.

I agree. It’s a jam or at least some kind of bet. He’s only got 10bb behind, villain covers, he’s only losing to J10, KK & AA which don’t play villains line, + he gets called by worse made hands like exactly the one villain shows up with

@@poptartkilla3718 Chip leader and BB are gonna shove in top of his opens with all kind of trash hands if he just opens, but are not calling lightly if being shoved into. KJ cant call a shove, but is too strong to fold. KJ blocks enough value to be shoved there. And hes not clear 2nd.
@pepelepew3872
@pepelepew3872 2 ай бұрын
i run a sim, its mostly raise/fold to a jam from BB...But ICM is only a guideline to understand how these spot works because it only calculates based numbers, not by the ranges or tendencies of individual players, or future game, or the edge you might have or not in certain FTs. I guess he shoves becasue of the maniac Chipleader, not wanting to get involved with, but i think he forgot about a rather passive player on the BB. That he could easily raise fold! When you play these big spots there are also emotions envolved so...

@robertchrapek7334
@robertchrapek7334 2 ай бұрын
I am in Ontario as well. Matt is playing in the global player pool which has a lot more people entering those games and it makes the guaranteed prize pool larger. We have the advantage of the smaller player pools, but the prizes are smaller. Honestly I love being ring locked because we have less professional players in our player pool.

When you was chip leading FT you played way too many hands. Tighten up. You should have gotten second at worst
@losyart
@losyart 2 ай бұрын
Thats how it suppose to be played. Make a pressure in right spots and opening wider cause of the pressure on others to ladder. Plus table becoming more and more shorthanded so blinds coming a lot and u have to fight for it. Ofc if u have stationy guy in position it becomes more complicated and maybe being a bit tighter is better. Great score great vid.
