John p Joe right? First three solos right out of the gate on Love at First Sting are in your FACE! Especially in Hurricane. All up at the 22nd fret getting OFF. And drops down for another blistering run up the pentatonic scale. Mastery. Imo, he wrote sole of the best leads EVER and his fill work on Blackout and LAFS albums is unmatched by anyone. Anywhere. Give it up for Dieter Dirks too. I think he produced both records.

I've seen this guy play on 4 tours since Love at First Sting, he's the backbone of the band and a true gentlemen, he personally handed me his guitar pic at Crazy World tour during Winds of Change song... guys a real rock star. My favorite song by Scorps is COAST TO COAST and only the true fans know why that song is so amazing... while not having any lyrics. LOVE my Scorpions... till i die.

Scorpions were SO good when they were still a bit more dark, moody, melodic and emotional... Coast to Coast is a perfect example. Those earlier albums seemed to come from the heart, although they were not the biggest sellers or the catchiest radio singles as from Blackout onward.

Agreed. He's aging, and eventually that will diminish their accuracy and speed. Nolan Ryan couldn't walk back into MLB and throw like he used to. With anything that requires fine motor skills, age can diminish it. Some players are more affected than others. It seems to be worse with the ones who abused drugs and alcohol for more of their life. Just listen to some of the Jimmy Page stuff from the early 80s. I questioned whether it was one of those "shreds" parody videos where they overdub crappy guitar work over top of the visual performance of a legendary player. But the footage was real. Heroin doesn't do your neurons any favors, and neither does alcohol. What I do appreciate about this video is how real it is. I love seeing a legend just picking around and not being perfect.

Hello , i would like to know if the EX90 is neck through (maple or mahogany neck)?

This guitar is made of Korina. If i'm not wrong, the body has a maple top (like the Gibson Les Paul). The neck (Also made of Korina) is glued on the body. I, personally, played this exact guitar in his store in Munich in 2013. Sounds and feels really great!
