Bayern may have just flushed a huge amount of money down the toilet. At least in the case of Bouna Saar, the money was misspent on a player who simply wasn't very good. In the case of de Ligt, they MAY just have contracted a lazy player unwilling to put in a proper shift.

Your comment shows just about how little you know about De Ligt. He was already a captain at Ajax even before he left for Juventus. His physique can also tell you he's not lazy.
