So as soon as I saw him in the videocall, I suspected it was him and I grabbed my phone to check the KZbin channel, but from the miniature of the picture I still wasn't 100% sure. @@handsomelarsandhisfabulousjars ??? it was a joke… also playing the bass does take a lot of skill. The bass (i’m assuming he’s talking about the double bass) is actually one of the most important stringed instruments in the orchestra. They not only have the job of keeping tempo for the orchestra, but also they are the lowest pitched instrument so it is the easiest to hear. The entire orchestra usually uses the bass as a point of reference when playing pieces, especially complicated ones. And your comparison is strange. What makes you think a bass player can’t play a guitar but not vice versa? Both the guitar and the bass require skill. Do you think bass players get accepted into prestigious orchestras just from owning a bass? It requires several hours a week of practice to master any instrument, including the bass. Just because you feel superior for playing the guitar doesn’t mean you are.
@handsomelarsandhisfabulousjars2 жыл бұрын
@@mirandaarias1119 I didn't say bass wasn't important musically I said it's easier than normal guitar, what do I base that on? Firsthand experience, I have done the exact experiment I described in my earlier comment with my guitarist and bassist friends and the ones who ONLY played bass couldn't play guitar very well meanwhile my friends who play guitar only including myself picked up the bass technique very easily. Bassists like to think they have so much more "soul" or "groove" than guitarists but that's only because almost anyone can play something that sounds good on bass right away even if it's just E's and G's it still sounds good but it's a lot harder to play something that sounds good on guitar without a decent amount of practice.

I'm not an expert, but I've studied music time ago and I know that the black keys are in that specific places because they represent the semitones For example: Between Mi (E) and Fa (F) there is only one semitone, while between Sol (G) and La (A) there is a tone, so we have a black key (Sol# or La♭) Thanks to this change, we can have all the keys one semitone different I know probably all of you know this, but if you don't know anything about music (like me), this sounds interesting
