Use the digger to make an access road to the bottom of your trail. This access road can be your up trail later on. Then, starting at the bottom of your new access road, reverse engineer your golf course trail by making a cooridor that follows the golf course trail's eventual path. Should keep everything looking nice and tidy.

If you’ve got cracks matt you may wanna start sweeping some dust into most of it when it dries out, then wet it, let it dry and do it again, it honestly helps so much and over time kind of just fills the cracks in, keen to watch the rest of these episodes 🤘🏼

This is the best series ever! Loving it. You'd be an "absolute lunatic" to carry on building that line by hand. Go big!! Get big machines in Matt, dumper and excavator for carting and stacking. 13ton excavator and minimum 6ton dumper will do it. You can always hand dig other lines and features round the playground. You, Ben and Jamie could all have your own signiture imagination lines. Ideas and opportunities for that place are endless, what a location! Keep up the awesome work 👍

Name suggestion: The Fairway "Step" Down. Also been thinking the first jump needs to go into a crescent/half-moon landing into 3-5 different lines. The left side is already started, just need to get the planning started on the rest of the lines coming off the start, maybe using drone footage(w/ distance indicators painted on the ground for ez-reference?) to help, possibly along with the community to plan the additional lines as the first complete line is worked on by you all around The Playground. This looks like a fantastic compound for The Playground with an equally fitting name, I'm super excited to see what comes of it over the next years. Ride and work safe, stay free, stay healthy.

i hope this is read and maybe contribute. i have years of experience dealing with building terrain and water flow. i see some spots already that will suffer from the rain and can be avoided. here's a tip and would love to give you more. you should have a big pile of 3/4' stone and stone dust but you may be able to use your dirt instead of the stone dust. when you start to get to the low points of the property, obviously going to be wet points. dig deeper on the lows and fill with stone so it will naturally drain the top soil you use (stone dust or your dirt) then pack your dirt ontop to get your height desired. you got to create a drainage and area for wetness to sit and not affect the riding. i live in New England USA and deal with crazy odd terrain like that, i mentioned it may be from bombing but also over here from the ice age makes the land look like that. there is a lack of top soil and loamy like material so maybe a bombed field.

HI Matt, loving the vids so much respect for people investing their time and money into projects like this! One point though i want to make to you though buddy- be careful when digging , the ricochet when hitting the ground into your hand that holds the top of your shovel will cause serious tendon problems in your hand and wrist later in life, ...i have it from exactly this in my right hand and using power tools. people in the army get it too from using guns that recoil, basicaly dont use a "SHOVEL" to break the ground use a "FORK" :D i learnt the hard way.....
