THIS YEAR’S RED BULL RAMPAGE LINES ARE THE CRAZIEST EVER!!

Red Bull Rampage 2023 is here. This is the most iconic and insane freeride mountain bike event to have ever existed in MTB. The best Slopestyle, freeride and downhill riders have to build their own line to then compete for the winning run on Friday 13th. I went and did a course walk to see what jumps and drops the riders are working on, and what tricks they might have planned! The stand out features are Brendan Fairclough's canyon gap, Gee Atherton's huge drop and Cam Zink's legendary hits. Enjoy the video and get ready for finals!!

@@race808r6 isle of man tt 2 riders die per year. but there are hundreds of riders. climbing the Annapurna you have a chance of death about 32%. But ok its not an event. Still i would say cavediving or wingsuit flying wingsuit proximity flying are way more danagarouse than mountainbiking. The only sport i dont get is free climbing. Its like you say if the ramapge riders ride without helmet would it make it more epic.

I'm not sure why but I've watched Rampage for a good 5-6 years now but I guess since everything is always viewed from a distance it looks like a normal slope-style just in a rough area. This vid was the first time I truly saw the scale of these jumps. The canyon gap looks to be twice as big as I had thought.

For me MTB or surfing are hands down the gnarliest sports out there. Some honourable mentions like snowboarding but I think to jump off mountains on a push bike is the gnarliest thing you can do. Things like this makes you really wonder how much bigger can you go, even if it’s 10 years from now someone will most likely do a gap bigger than this, at what point can you not go any bigger this must be close

I always find the footage from the actual event gives you no concept of how mental these features are, but I guess it must be difficult/expensive to put cameras on all of the features on all of the different routes... hopefully there will be drone footage this year.
