WHO WON?? ME ON A DIRT JUMP BIKE RACING BEN ON AN ENDURO BIKE!!

Me and Ben have been riding together for a few years now, mostly on BMX and dirt jump bikes when we did the backyard trails build and rode those dirt jumps together. But in the last year we've spent more time riding enduro bikes at downhill bike parks like Revolution Bike Park in Wales. So we had a bet to see if I could beat Ben racing down a downhill track, with him riding his Marin enduro bike, and me racing on my dirt jump bike - a one brake hardtail with slick tyres and rock hard forks VS a soft and grippy tyre enduro bike. Rogate Bike Park was perfect for the test. We couldn't believe the rest! Enjoy,

@@StanleyKubick1 Yo! it’s def more in the Dow country realm then enduro. The geo is relatively short and doesn’t have the steepest nor slackest ht angle. And you’ll never find a 120mm enduro bike, it’s even tough to find them with as little travel as 140mm.

I use a small ratchet strap to tow my son using my ebike. I use the ratchet mechanism to loop it round the frame just under my seatpost then route it under his bars on the non drive side, around the back of the steerer tube under the stem and then over to the top of the drive side grip then one wrap around so he can hold the grip and the tow strap with both hands onnthe bars. When he wants to stop he just takes his hand off the grip and the strap is released.
