So apparently there are remote reservoir mounts that attach to the Genuine Harley-Davidson Docking hardware. No need to sacrifice the passenger back rest and/or possibly the tour pack. My mistake for not researching this more before I opened my big mouth.

I think if they had some kind of protective cover over them. It just looks too easy to cut with a pair of snippers and ruin your day. I DID like how it performed when you rode it though! Mucho Power at the twist of the throttle! Not much twist either I suspect with that setup of a Stage 3! It was effortless to step away from your extra cameraman, and he's not riding a slouch either!

Hi Matt, love that 2 into 1 sound. I have a May 2017 RGS stage 3 from new with V&H power duals/titans (nice deep sound and good performance- but I love 2 into 1). 12 months ago my bike had to undergo a rebuild due to sumping problems allegedly from the original oil pump not being up to stage 3 or 4 needs. Installed was An upgraded oil pump, backing plate, clutch, pistons and sleeves, adjustable pushrods and a few other smaller bits. Mileage at that time was 20,000mi. Ran heaps better for a while until a few weeks ago, and another 5000mi when the clackety clack noise returned, now back in the shop. Maybe it is something in the cam chain tensioner stuck, or maybe the oil pump again. I am told HD have a 5th revision of the M8 oil pump that is completely different to everything before. it’s a real pain, I hope you guys haven’t encountered similar problems, if so would appreciate knowing what the solution is. Great build Does that S&S pipe void the factory warranty?
@TH3G0ODGUY5 жыл бұрын
No, only using a non Harley tuner will void the powertrain warranty. It does open you up for the potential of denied claims though, for example if the exhaust gaskets failed Harley would likely say it's because you didn't use their pipe. Keep in mind there is a big difference between a voided warranty and opening yourself up to a potential denied claim.
