Hi again MATT He's engaged trying hard and trusting you. He's calm and confident too. You too calm patient yet persistent but not in a hurry and supporting and praising him along the process. It's a great day!! The toughest part behind you two and from now forward what a fun time! He's a very smart guy! Alot to work with with that mind of his. And it appears the respect is there now so onward you go... As I've mentioned if you could get there to this place with him which you have I do believe your diamond in the rough will not only be your buddy but he will work his heart out for you and accomplish more then you imagined... He's quick and handy too so who knows lol! Enjoy him Matt cause after all he's a Mustang and carries with him a piece of our country's history and a survivor's story like no other. Thx for sharing and making me so happy to see the progress.

I enjoy watching your videos. He definitely has athletic ability but, curious how would you compare it to a qh who is bred for reigning ability? I’ve seen mustangs that are smarter than some well bred quarter horses. Also I agree there isn’t only one way to teach a horse as long as it works. Been watching clinicians, cowboys, charros videos for years. Basic principles are same with slight variations. It is so gratifying to watch a video then try it on your horse and see that it works. I no longer try to submit horses to my will but, instead try to make us partners. Much better results.
