718 GT4 : Wash And Talk

I'm switching over to the E92 for the week so the GT4 is getting a wash before being tucked away. I'm trying out the new Vyper Chair and the Marolex pump sprayer. This is also my first application of the OG Drying Aid.

I love the GT4.. I almost bought one in Gentian Blue myself last fall but then I was offered a slot for the 992 GT3, so I'm going that route. It will arrive sometime between December and February.

@@gross4985 My dealer doesn't charge over MSRP. I believe most dealers do, but I'm fortunate in that mine does not. That said, I would happily pay some amount over MSRP because I really want it and because it will be worth way more than MSRP anyway...but I'm sure glad I don't have to! I'm checking virtually every option box and I'm doing PTS, so I'm already shelling out for it as it is!

Noticed you have the Dunlops Maxx Race (I guess) those are the ones my 981 GT4 came from factory they are terrific on dry and high temp summer conditions, but terrible on wet and cold days. After 10k miles they were done and I switched to PS4S since I don’t track my car

Matt have you thought about using ICF for your exterior walls? essentially "hurricane-proof" your house and extremely energy efficient.

I grew up in Asheville and I can tell you you won't like it there. It USED to be an amazing little place probably 10 years ago but now crime is going through the roof, the homeless population is enormous, and the housing market is all out of whack now with people selling janky houses for $500k. I can tell you it's a beautiful place but the city has gone downhill over the passed few years so maybe don't get your hopes to high for Asheville lol

From a logistics point of view on products I guess you could use something like SAP to track all your inventory and you start using QR code’s? A wine distributor out here in California called Biagi Brothers they are a full service logistic Company for alcohol in fact they deal with a lot of our wines and corona and Modelo for us and they know where everything is in their warehouses on their forklift at any given time everything is QR coded !

Hey Matt!! You found your guy!! I'm the laundry specialist you are looking for....I keep our laundry "dialed in" - a load or 2 a day, always an empty hamper. I wash/dry/fold and deliver it neatly folded to my wife's landing zone area (within our closet). She can wear the same PJ's each night, as by the time they hit the hamper, they are washed and ready by the next night.....LOL. I can also keep your kids and wife dialed in with keeping things neat and tidy (law and order ;-)....
