Matt this was amazing. Not only the production but the message too. I’m quite young (19) but I still watch all of your videos with an focus like nothing else, even though I’ll never buy a Naturekast kitchen for example (I live in a country with not so great weather most of the time). But the attention to detail you have and the way in which you connect with the audience is something only you can do. I can’t see myself watching any other KZbinr as long as some of your videos are or wait as eagerly for the next video. And your message in this one and conveying how cars are a part of your life really connected with me and sums up why I always put money I know I will never recoup into my car for the fine details. Saving just to spend more on elevating the car and trying to dial it in, tailor it to what I want to feel when I drive, look at or work on the car. And honestly Matt I can’t thank you enough for taking us on your journey and showing us the details along the way. Seeing them materialise too, as the series’s progresses, is really somethings we can’t learn elsewhere (like destination OG series for example). And I could say so more but I think I’ll end by saying thank you for inspiring us to try to do better, reach higher and realise our goals (even if the next chapter is blank and we don’t see what it is yet). Not in America so I don’t participate in the giveaway but I wish you the best and for many sales for this special car 🙂

I want to point out that it's awesome to see how Matt has grown to not only cope with his OCD and the anxiety but also to articulate those things into easier to digest pieces of information. Hey Matt, I wanted to leave a thank you message. Like many others, the OG channel has been my vessel for years into achieving the dream of one day owning a Porsche, yet alone a GT car. The first Porsche I've ever test drove was a 981 Boxter S and from that day on in 2014 I was hooked. I was 24 at the time with no means of owning one but like you, I knew that one day I will own a Porsche. Your Sapphire Blue GT3 videos were the first ones I had stumbled upon when exploring 911s of that era. The moment I saw them I knew it had to be a GT car and that nothing else would compare. Your videos would always motivate me, I always thought to my self (this is exactly how I'd like to treat my car when the time comes around) Years passed and I never gave up on that dream, 9 years full of twists, turns and lots of stars aligning later and I've finally realized it. Just as of yesterday I'm a proud owner of a 991.2 GT3. (this feels insane just typing out). Thank you for making us all tag along this journey of yours, you certainly have influenced some of ours out there.

The Video is beyond perfection, being a car/Jeep guy my whole life and earning and spending my own money I can understand how he feels about that car or any car. When ceramic coating became available and the price to have it professionally installed it calmed my nerves quite a bit but I still park away from the general public, it`s good for exercise and keeps the dings down to a minimum. You have to give him a lot of credit to get where he is today, I would think he worked his ass off to get to this level. Love the channel and the wealth of information on products to use

My "car guy book" is shockingly paralleled to yours. I remember seeing my first 997.2 GT3 RS on Car and Driver and knowing I had to have it one day. I grew up next to my dad's 6MT e90 m3. I had the privilege of leasing a b8.5 S5 followed shortly by a 991.1 Carrera S in agate gray with a full carrera red interior, now sitting at a joyful 83,500 miles. The 997.2 GT3 RS can only be characterized by one phrase: "mechanical perfection" aka "driver perfection". Thank you for sharing your story with us. I think I can confidently speak on behalf of every one of your subscribers when I say, thank you Porsche and thank you Obsessed Garage.

Great video, great story. Glad I found your channel. I grew up dreaming of owning a 911 Turbo until one day I did (a 993). I have always struggled with trying to keep it prefect, but at 177K I have learned to be happy with the pursuit of trying to keep it perfect. I never imagined owning more than one, it was not even a fantasy., however today it shares the stable with it's 992 and Taycan siblings that take the brunt of the daily driving, although I continue strive to keep them as perfect as the day they arrived from the factory (all of which were built to order), maybe even a little bit more perfect. The the 992 went through paint correction before ppf and ceramic before even hitting the road.

What a great film! I’ve been watching videos on your channel for what feels like almost 10 years. My car collection, and the quality of cars that I’ve been getting progressed along with you. I’ve been lucky to own one of these 997.2 GT3RS SINCE 2020. They are truly amazing and special cars. Mine has 13,000 miles on it. For those with a 991 or 981 with a stumbling issue. Try replacing the throttle pedal. It sounds so silly but it competley fixed mine and did for a few others on the fourms.

What a wonderful journey. So glad it was a drivers car and not a garage queen. These are the best drivers cars Porsche built IMHO. Analog perfection with a few little warts that make it feel real. They need to be driven, hard, to be appreciated. Only thing that could make it better would be 5 months at Sharkwerks to make it 4.1L perfection for 100K miles.
