I don’t believe that Stroud was taking a shot at Rodgers. The question wasn’t who’s the better quarterback, it was whose career would you rather have; I understand where Stroud is coming from. If winning is your primary objective then it would make sense to choose the Quarterback with more championships.. As fans we can’t have it both ways. We can’t criticize players for prioritizing their individual performance over the team and then criticize them for prioritizing the team over individual accomplishments.. I’m pretty sure if you ask Marino if he would rather have Ken O’Brien’s career along with a chip, he would say hell yeah! To the second point: I understand what he means when he said, if Stafford would’ve had the talent that Rodgers had in GB, he would’ve won more chips. 3 or 4 more maybe is a stretch but Stafford is an elite QB.

There’s a lot of nuance to these conversations. I can understand someone wanting Eli’s career over Rodgers. And for 2007 and 2011, the Giants were better than the Packers. But for every other year, the Packed were consistently better, and the Giants fell off. Rodgers is by far the better QB. If Eli won 2 rings with those giants teams, Rodgers would’ve easily exceeded that.

I’d say manning is also a fair comparison, another player with legendary, game-breaking who was generally taken for granted by his team, rarely got great defenses, and was responsible for some amazing seasons late in his career

Student of the game but didn’t do his homework lol the irony , Rodgers had defenses that gave up over 35 points on average , not just a few times , that’s on average , ain’t nobody winning all those, Mahomes or Brady wouldn’t of won to many SBs with defenses giving up that on average , Rodgers had to try playing hero ball which is why he would throw more picks than normal , yes he’s had his share of mistakes but there’s been more games the team failed Rodgers wether special teams or defense than Rodgers not doing enough, he needs to really do his homework before trying to say Stafford would have 4 Rings if he was on the packers lol there’s no way he really thinks that and I enjoyed watching stroud last year but definitely don’t agree with that wild opinion but hey to each their own I suppose
