Breakdown of other prediction video. Biggest Good Surprise: Both: Yuki - did a decent job getting 30 points, but finished 12th in driver standings. Biggest Flop: Matt: Alonso - finished 9th, and won the class B fight with 70 total points. he did good. Tommy: Merc - team finished 4th well Infront of the 5th place team. merc drivers also won multiple times this year. they did decent. Loses Race Seat: Matt: Sergio Perez - Kept his seat till end of year. Tommy: none - failed, Logan and Danial lost seats. New Race Winner: Matt: Norris - came second with multiple wins. he passed. Tommy: Both - Also correct. Oscar and Norris got wins. Biggest Meme on the Grid: Matt: Oscar - He did a great job. didn't have too many meme moment so don't know if this counts. Tommy: Hass - did fantastic, was in the fight for 6th in constructers but lost out to alpine. failed World Champion: Matt: Norris - close but failed so hard in a couple races and lost it. Tommy: Max - Won and with a decent margin to finish with. Crazy Prediction Matt: Leclerc more wins than poles - Charles got 3 poles and 3 wins. failed technically. Tommy: Rb finish in front of Alpine - nope Alpine got 6th, RB got 8th. Total Points (personal Grading): Matt: 2 Tommy: 3

Tommy on Verstappen P1, not expecting it to be "this close"? It was still a 62 points difference between P1 and P2 at the end, so quite a margin! It is kind of a curse for Verstappen, people by now expect magic, and when he "just performs", it is kind of dissapointing.

Say what you will about George Russell. But credit where it’s due, the way he’s bounced back after 2023 is incredible/really impressive. He didn’t let the misfortune get to him and came back much stronger/tougher and more ruthless and seemed to not only defeat Lewis this season, but at some points seemed to be clearly stronger than Lewis. Even this season he showed incredible, champion-like resilience. When the team were bottling his races, at the next race he’d come back as strong, if not stronger than before. If the team had done a better job he could have four wins this season (Austria, Spa, Brazil and Las Vegas). Maybe even five wins depending on what was going on with his car at Silverstone.

You guys should score the predictions on golf style rules. The "points" you get are the difference in the actual vs. predictions and the lowest total points wins. A correct prediction is 0 points and if you predict p20 but they finish p15 it's 5 points.

If you took away the first 6 races of the season, Sergio Perez scored 49 points across the later 18 Grand Prix of the season. By comparison Pierre Gasly scored 42 points across the same 18 races IN AN ALPINE. Max Verstappen in the other Red Bull scored 301 points during the same period. There is no excuse for Sergio's performances this year. He should of been at least 4th in the standings, given the car he was driving, and given what Max was able to do in the same car. Red Bull should off been Constructors Championship, and they are not because of Sergio's performance. He went out 7 times in Q1 this year, in one of the fastest cars on the grid. How he still has his seat is beyond anyone's comprehension.
