As a senior lifeguard instructor, we see multiple cases a year of drowning under similar circumstances. When that raft wrapped around her as she went under she could have drowned. The person who did this was an absolutely ignorant to water physics and human biology. It is obvious from the video that her panic level rose greatly as the raft was engulfing her and she was struggling to free herself. At one point you could even see she went underwater. From there all it would take is her gasping once inhaling water which would have resulted in a violent coughing and choking situation where more water would have been inhaled. That would have been game over unless somebody nearby knew aquatic first aid.
