Hey Matt! For tiers: It takes a certain amount of coins to unlock T2 and T3s. After that, the plant tiers can be switched 999 times before having to unlock them back again. Also there are multiple custom plants in the game for you to discover.

Hey mat hope you're doing well, just saying star fruit tier 3 or 2 is the GOAT! Does a ton of damage in a large range. The only downside is that it does not hit flying zomboos. Definitely worth a try.

I’m not sure if you addressed this in an earlier level, but what version of the mod do you have? Eclise has had many updates and overhauls over time and this just feels like a completely different game from the current version.

It's Beta 1.9. I'm one of the few who prefer Beta over Alpha because I think the beginning is more beginner-friendly and I like the steeper difficulty ramp.

Yes Matt, just use 2 column of repeaters and torchwood at the back to handle all the zombies haha and ofc spam sunshrooms and puff shrooms to maximise sun production. repeater and torchwood also takes out the graves really fast

Now that you unlocked the Endurian, I definitely recommend that you try to use it more often because it is actually pretty op imo

Endurian was one of the worse plant in the Vanilla game, but is now one of the most OP plants and basically a must for all of the Pirate Seas levels.

TIP:you should use the cabbage pult instead of the peashooter because it does more damage it cost the same and also it will launch past the graves not like peashooters which just hit the closest grave on the lane.

Kernel Pult will be really helpful in Pirate seas as the butter can stall zombies and one shot seagull zombies, pelican zombies, the zombie parrot and the bug from bug zombie

Tips about early tiering: Peashooter and cabbage pult are very effective tier’d up, cabbage pult being a Diet-Melon Pult, Peashooter being a faster recharge Repeater. Iceberg Lettuce is also great as T2 for small aoe freeze. Starfruit is also an okay Tiered up plant. All of these can be great attackers if used correctly, so try to tier one of these up first for when you start tiering things up.

Starfruit OP Can counter weak backward zombies, Imps, and sandstorms that spawn in the middle of your "star-field" since those zombies get rekt and hit by all sides lmfao As well as dealing heavy damage to Gargantuars, when stalled enough using Kernel-pult and can quickly clear out tombstones and grid items.

@@octopuszombie8744 I know starfruit is good, but why I said it was ok tiered up is it’s recharge. Starfruit is only good at T2 and T3, but their recharges aren’t amazing. You want to spam them, but without imitater it isn’t amazing. I also don’t think Matt is in far enough to need to hard counter everything possible, only being in Pirate Seas, where the levels are short and not that difficult. You won’t be able to afford enough starfruit for it to be worth it, as well as their moderate recharge letting you only get a few out in the shorter levels. I like other plants than starfruit, but I know how good it can be when paired with stalls in the later worlds, but currently where Matt is at, if he tiers something up, it should be Iceberg or repeater, for how useful they are in almost every situation.

Hey Matt for levels where the zombies can go over the flowers there is a way to cheat those levels because in pvz2 and eclise (I think ) putting spike weeds over flowers will NOT cause zombies to trample them it is especially helpful in pirate seas in pvz2 where there are a lot of levels like that!

Have you ever heard of the punk zombie? They Move or kick your plants Matt until they get kicked out of the screen. The easy way to get rid of them is to use the magnetshroom because they will pull the head of the punk zombie.

Tip in alpha 2 or alpha 3 (eclise) when a zombie is eating a torchwood takes fire damage Switching to alpha 3 is easy just change the obb file from the one you have to the one you download (your progress will be ok), i cant put the url to the download. Endurian is really good in eclise, much better than the original game because its health got a really good buff and its actually viable here and one of if not the best wall that is also an attacker. later on u will face enemies that counter it in the far future which arent affected because they can eat plants from a distance. A way to counter that is to just put the endurian directly on the zombie for endurian to attack while the zombies are eating
