I've had to dig holes for powerline poles in that crap. You have to put a steel casing down and dig inside it or you'll eventually have a 10 ft wide crater that's only a couple of feet deep. I absolutely hate dry sand

Loved the way Matt asked Rhett what his thoughts were on how to solve the situation, despite probably knowing the best option himself the whole time. Good leaders allow people opportunities to succeed and even to fail, but in that event, to learn why. These guys are simply great people.

Rhett figuring out the four wheel drive problem is what allowed them to get it out with a lot less hassle. The owners probably would've gotten it out just fine if they would've figured out the four wheel drive issue; they just needed a Rhett to figure it out for them! And Matt allowing Rhett to figure it out himself just shows what a great Dad/teacher he is.

Matt always finds a way to get the job done. Matt made a good point about the tires being bald. I had a 1984 Ramcharger that had bald tires and I was able to pull people out of the soft sand when I lived in Arizona. There was a sandy area next to a Carl's Jr that people thought was a good place to park. I would try to warn them that it's not a good place to go but they wouldn't listen.I was charging $50 to get them out. I was making some good money. I would hang out there after work around dinner time when it was busy.

I started watching this channel because it was a no BS channel, about someone who knows how to do his job and did it in an entertaining way. But lately cant help the feeling that the (sometimes) artificial drama takes up more time then the recovery itself. I might becoming old and grumpy (not unlikely) but prefer to watch people do things and not people talking about what they will or should be doing.

I think this channel is long overdue for a drone. Not only for epic drone footage but finding customers would also come in handy!

I’m wondering if they told the owner it drove out on its own. Sounds like after the day the customer had I would be debating telling them it got out without a tow. 🤣

If you are allowed to I’d put up a sign saying this is the only way out and to call MORR for towing if you get stuck. That way you are helping people not get stuck in the first place & they know who will get em out

I bet people would drive right past it and THEN call for help. Lol

@@seanroberts381 For sure, but at least a number would be on the sign so people know who to call

People would drive past the sign and then use it as a anchor point, trying to winch out!
