To all the people thinking he's going to be sad about being banned, I am certain he thought about this before going to the Island. His main passion seems to be urban exploring (and is really great at it from the videos he's posted) so I doubt he gives a shit if Disney bans him. Amazing footage, Matt! That newly opened shrimp pack truly intrigues me the most out of this video, (other than the fact that the building are still intact) because I want to know who put it there and why. As they said the shrimp was newly opened and not there the day before which mean someone else put it there. I don't think Matt or Chris put it there because they both seemed genuinely disturbed by the shrimp being found, and I doubt that a bird carried a totally new opened package of shrimp all the way to the island because it would've eaten it. So does that mean that people may have been going to the island for a while now and HAVEN'T been documenting/recording it? If it is just a random person who went to the island here are a few questions I have about that; how many times/how long has he been going to the island? Why did he leave the shrimp? Was it a trap for a bird? Why did he not document/record it? Did he know of the scarcity of documentation/footage of the island? Was it just a Disney employee? Was the person on the island with them the whole time and does he live there? and finally, is he the only person who has been to the island but hasn't been known about and how many others explored this island AND what other odd things have they done on this island?
@mattsonswa

It seems that Disney happens to hiring for pest control. A couple of the requirements are: Capture and/or trap nuisance wildlife as needed following established departmental guidelines, including snakes, raccoons, alligators, etc. Diagnose existing pest issues and potential pest issues via routine inspections in a timely manner I would guess that they don't want the island overrun with nuisance animals so they put out the food to see what eats it. It may be easier to simply treat for issues now then have a large population grow and have to get rid of it later if they decide to do anything with the island. Or they are planning something for the island and they want to see what may be there that they have to treat for. I'd imagine that they would come back and check to see if the food is gone. If so they would then check the camera to see what ate it. Perhaps if the food is still there when they check they may erase whatever card is in the camera. There may even be a slight chance if they see someone walking around they may just think it another member of pest control. But that's just my guess.

I'm surprised Disney doesn't have security over this island 24/7 if they don't want anyone going onto it, especially cast members. The fact that it isn't secured (or not secured very well) makes me feel like they really don't care if people go on it or not. So why would a cast member be terminated on the spot for wandering around an island they don't have secured? also, why would they just all this junk there? it's so odd to me

Seeing the place with the abandoned cages and the wooden buildings gives me Jurassic Park vibes. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a raptor prowling around warily following anyone who dares to explore the island or a pteranodon nest on the roof of one of the buildings, the bones of fish marking its territory.

Tommy Vercetti I know, I can't believe Rockstar, and I know that Johnny, Terry, and Clay are still alive. At least you and other people know about this, because everybody else just says this ''Hey I thought that you were dead'' as a joke and ''Didn't Trevor kill you'' also as a joke and finally ''No your dead''. I mean Rockstar could bring back Johnny, Ashley, DeSean, Angus, Terry, Clay and maybe Jim, and Jason back into GTA 5 Online Biker DLC part 2, and hopefully they can get their revenge on Trisha Philips and finally kill him. Also maybe if they could make Johnny and Ashley parent models for The Online Protagonist then many people would love this idea. Anyway, thank you for understanding.

I went here as a child of about 12 years old, with my parents, GP's, sister and brother, back about 1978 or so, I think. We stayed at Fort Wilderness in a camper and tent. This place was one my grand father in his seventies was very fond of for the aviary but even as children we immediately recognized a tourist trap and couldn't wait to just be done with it and go back to Disney World proper. IIRC there were animal food feed dispensers everywhere that you put change in to get food to feed the animals. The little snack shops were just exorbitantly priced for some mixed fruit stuff. All of the wood handrails were coated back then, maybe shellac or polyurethane? I almost hate to say this, but somebody needs to, it was over hyped and was a real let down. The little rivers did have some huge KOI or goldfish in them though. I guess when you grow up going to Lion Country Safari as your zoo a little mini zoo is just, meh. And I suppose that having grown up in Florida with most of that tropical foliage it just did seem too planned and fake. So many of the bird cages were so small, as were other animal cages. :( I also hate that Disney had to stop 70,000 Leagues Under the Sea because it was not handicapped accessible. I am in a wheelchair and would never dream of stopping the able bodied from that experience. It was truly wonderful. Thank you for doing this. Lot's of memories. My GPa loved Space Mountain. :) :)

I guess maybe what I am trying to say is that as a Floridian, having done this once, we never did it again, no matter how many times we went to Disney World. It was a "one and done" type thing unless we had visitors with us.

@@IsLight778 look man, I ain't one myself (my pfp is a sonic character) but the majority of them don't dress up or even own fursuits. I understand the appeal of cosplaying a character (the minority that wants to be actual animals is strange, don't get me wrong) most furries from what I understand don't actually fit many of the stereotypes assigned to them, they aren't attracted (at least the large large majority) to literal animals either

Most urban explorers I've read about that have actually managed to get onto the island, the safest route would yes, be by raft, however, it makes a ton of noise (this could alert security) it's a 300m distance from the main Disney place. Some explorers have swam the whole 300m, but have said that it's actually an 800m swim. Some explorers have also claimed to hear unique, and disturbing animal calls. Calls unlike any other animal they have heard. Some have even claimed to SEE animals (most of them described a large group of apes, aggressive apes) but I'm not entirely sure this is true. Highly recommend going on Reddit and look into the r/nosleep subreddit and specifically look for the posts from past Disney World workers. They'll tell you the deepest, darkest secrets of Disney.
