As someone who owns a 2021 TE Gemini, I can 100% guarantee that bed sticker is wrong. We have 2 adults sleeping perfectly in the bed. And as for the toilet, we swapped ours to a domestic 320 porcelain. For anyone who wants a great small class C, this RV is amazing!!!

Love this RV, but Thor, you really need a porcelain toilet, a nautilus shower door, and if that weight limit is correct, you need to strengthen that bed. That said, the televator is great and when it’s down, it makes the kitchen really spacious. I like the decor package. I will say (which should make Andrea laugh) the valances are so much better looking than RV’s that have strange or loud patterns. And the exterior paint job is top notch.

After thinking about this for a day or two, I’m just going to say it. At this price point, a porcelain toilet, a nautilus shower door, rear and side cameras ought to be included. Trade out the fridge with the tiny freezer for a refrigerator that has a bit more room and a separate freezer. It seems like the microwave is too low. And surely that bed weight is wrong. It’s a great floor plan and there is so much to love about it, but practical use, safety and price point would dictate changes. And another thing that probably only a company like Thor would listen to. The industry has been handed a gift with the pandemic. More people are buying and traveling in RV’s. More and more people are downsizing to live on the road full-time. Just because you’re trending, in a time when inflation is crippling people, instead of just jacking the price just because you can, increase production (more American jobs, more buyers), innovate and diversify by making the products here that you can’t get from foreign countries (lower wait times, American jobs, sales money from other manufacturers), put out a top notch product at an affordable price (that makes buyers flock to you). I’m no economist, but that would seem the most profitable way of doing things. Work with Kentucky’s Governor and our Cabinet for Economic Development. Tell the Governor I sent you. He’ll set you an awesome deal. You know we already make Ford’s here, not to mention Toyota and the houseboat industry. You could have more partnerships than you ever dreamed of, certainly more than anyone else in the industry. What are you waiting for? A phone number? The Governor’s Office is [phone]. The bed issue would be a insta fail for me even as a single person. Would love to see a nautilus shower curtain otherwise that bathroom is amazing. I would love to see more units with a water spray port on the camp side in addition to the shower or spray port on the hook up side.

I think these B+ models are just the right size for how I would use an RV. This is probably my favorite layout of them all, because I love the idea of keeping the bed made in that Murphy Bed, and still being able to get it out of the way when I don't need it, all without having to tear the bed down every time. However, that "250 lbs Max load capacity for this single person bed." nonsense is an absolute deal killer. I'm big enough that it barely has enough capacity for me, a pillow, and a blanket. Beyond that, I'd rather have some kind of lithium package, with solar and an induction cooktop. I'd also like to move the microwave to the upper cabinets, because that location is a bit low for me to use it regularly. Lastly, I'd prefer a more solid door of some kind on the shower with a bit more elbow room, like a 30x36 instead. On the plus side, in addition to the overall floor plan, I love the big TV on the televator, the size of the fridge, the amount of storage, and that full body paint job.

I got three camp chairs, one REI director and 2 small saddle like umbrella chairs, one small folding table, tool bag, and other misc in passenger side storage bay. Installed porcelain toilet and added a lithium solar pkg post sale. Love my 2022 Gemini TE23.

My likes are the bathroom the kitchen and where the tv is with the counter top. The dislikes are the shower curtain the bed not fitting for 2 people. Storage above the drivers side and passenger side made bigger. Thank you Matt & Andrea for showing this Thor class B.

Overall I like this RV. I do wish there was a bunk over the cab. I need a place for the grandkids or guests. Second, that bed weight can't be right. That eliminates couples and many people. I really love the layout with plenty of storage and kitchen space. I love the bathroom. And mostly, I love the Ford engine and its carrying capacity. When I heard Ford engine, I was like "I'm going to watch this whole thing." Small with power! Yes!

All these weight limit comments got me curious so I checked my 2022 23TE and it doesn’t have that weight limit sticker next to the bed. My wife and I have spent several uneventful nights sleeping on it and we weigh a total of 335 lbs. 😊

I agree. Look at how the bed is supported by the couch. There’s not way the max weight is 250lbs. Probably a typo that should have been 450lbs or something

I agree, but that opens up a totally different issue - manufacturing quality control. Should the sticker even be in the RV, considering it has no over-cab bunk...unless they were talking about 250 lb cats. Even the most basic supervisory quality control on the production line should have caught that.

I love that it is all wheel drive. I was looking at the Revel and while it seems good for getting off onto trails, it seems a bit small and there's no generator.

Quality of trailers is questionable right now. Trailers are being delivered without cabinet doors. No roof ladders . Cheaper tires then normal. I think they are rushing and not paying attention to details. Not sure if I’d be looking right now. Plus prices are nuts

I hate the microwave at my knees that's a deal breaker. i don't like the small fridge. id rather lose those two drawers and and have a bigger fridge. while I love the murphy bed the 250 pound limit seems wrong. is there not a bunk above the bed too? I love that the TV is on a televator a giant TV in a space so small is ridiculous so at least its hidden and not blocking my windows. I love the storage above the cab. that's a huge amount of space if you put in a few baskets or bins. i love the bathroom.

Thanks for the review. Nice RV for a single traveler. I like the rear bathroom for its size and storage. Porcelain toilet would be better than plastic. Love the farmhouse interior with the farmhouse interior that not “Art Deco” picture should be a cute chalkboard. It needs a ladder, and side cameras. The Murphy bed weight limit must be a mistake possible weight for the over cab bed.

Strengthen the support bar to accommodate 2 people Thor! Dislike fridge, not enough freezer space. Because of the amount of storage the drawer below fridge doesn’t need to be there. Hope the tv pivots when raised to accommodate viewing for two front seats. Cheap looking counters, prefer solid color. Needs a larger microwave/convection, add the built in air fryer that the 2022 models. Nice set up, love the cabinet color.

You're right Matt about the space over the cab. I think it needs to be an extra bed to much wasted space. That murphy bed is a no go for me the weight limit sucks. The toilet needs to be porcelain like you say I agree with that. And I'm with Andrea about the shower certain get rid of it and put a door on it. Oh yeah, and one more thing. The lip were the televator is needs to be flush and not sticking up.

Oct 8, 2022 I just walked the 2023 Gemini TW and Compass TE in Alvarado TX where this video was shot. The bed issue isn’t an issue 😎 The cabinetry is beautiful! The stove top is induction. The Ford transit and 350 eco boost are superior to the MB in my opinion. The full body paint is a $10-12k upgrade. I would like to hear your thoughts on the advantages of full body paint. I would prefer a “raised” porcelain toilet and better option for the shower door. I appreciate your responses!!

Hi guys, great video! I love this RV, but I here are 7 ideas/improvements that need talked about, first, the plastic toilet, replace with porcelain. Second, I hope that decal with the 250lb. Max warning is a mistake and meant for another RV that has a single bed? If this is for a Queen mattress as shown, big deal breaker! Third, I would like to see a bigger fridge (length wise). Fourth, I hope that Televator goes down all the way flush with the counter? Fifth, I would like to see heavier duty flush style latches on the outside of the RV body. Sixth, something needs done about the shower entry that uses a drape. Lastly, I would like to see better quality/aesthetically pleasing counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom. Exterior paint is fantastic! Ford chassis is solid and a good performer.

I think it means the bunk area not the Murphy bed as it talks about elevated beds which the Murphy is not - it's used at ground level. Hopefully the cats don't weigh over 250lbs!

Obviously, that sticker is not for that Murphy bed. There are no bed rails (referred to on the label) there is not “elevation” feature and it’s not a single person bed either. That sticker is for a bunk over the cab or another type of bunk style bed. I can’t believe anyone would actually think that it refers to that Murphy bed.

Ok, wow. Yeah. That Murphy bed thing is RIGHT out. Thor, you need to work on that! Matt, we said at the same time that the bunk was where the kitties go! What a hoot. I actually like that but do miss an actual bunk. I think I missed the CCC, though, too? But I suspect it's not that good. Lastly, you'd think with all that great counter space they could have done a dual sink, but whatever. The Murphy pretty much cancels out any other good with that RV. Too bad. Thanks Matt and crew! 👍

I agree with your dislikes and likes. I think everyone should now check or ask about Murphy beds in vehicles they are viewing. I bet it is because the bed is on the slide in a much lighter vehicle than a C or A RV.

I believe the key word is "elevated" for the bed sticker. The bed isn't elevated per se, like the beds you find over the cab. If the bed truly couldn't have more than 250 lbs, why didn't they put in smaller mattress?

Three Dislikes: 1) Need a bigger refrigerator!! I would rather sacrifice a few drawers for a bigger fridge. 2) Sleeping Accommodations - First, the bed needs to sleep at least 450 lbs. That has to be wrong. Would prefer a bunk over the cab! RV Campers should sleep at least 4 people, even if they are a smaller size. 3) No plastic toilets! Wish the standard for all RV's was Porcelain. Plastic is not durable. You cannot scrub plastic! It just scratches and dulls and looks bad. Porcelain, Porcelain, Porcelain no matter the weight!! LOVES: Love the more compact size of the RV being a B plus. 2) Love the bathroom design. The extra cabinets are great for cleaning supplies. 3) Love the size and placement of the TV (does it have DVD player?) Do the seats swivel around? That would be preferrable for the living area. Matt & Andrea, I LOVE your videos!! Could you please show when the seats swivel and remark as to whether one or both swivel? Thank you so much! :)

Maybe change your proven formula to say, "three things we like about it and three things to think about". Holy guacamole guys love the size of this van/C. My dislikes are the fact that there isn’t any place on the outside storage that you could possibly put some fold up chairs. That being said the interior storage for this motorhome is incredible. Ok so I too am totally confused about the Murphy bed pound limit. What the heck is that? That has to be a mistake there is no way that this company would sell a nice unit like this with the main sleeping being 250. Please get back to use if you all figure it out. Love you both. ❤️🤩👍

The OCCC of 1634 is outstanding, virtually double the similar floorplan Sprinters. I see this consistently, and one the reasons I prefer the Transit (maintenance availability and costs being the other) and AWD a bonus. Now that sticker, sadly, it may reflect Thor quality control and should never have been near that RV. It is referring to the over cab bed that doesn't exist in this model...unless the weight limit was 250 lb cats (HA HA). Seriously, basic supervisory quality control on the production line should have removed it.

There're quite a few items that I don't like about this one and nothing to none items that I really like... To start with, 9.7 mpg is horrible for a small RV, what's going on with that??? The bed doesn't even make sense! Maybe they stuck the wrong sticker on it .. lol.. so strange, but it's a beautiful rig.

That sticker was clearly meant for the non-existent bunk-over-cab space. I love that you can shave off a good chunk o change by not getting full-body paint. I would rather dole out more $$ for more insulation and on-board LITHIUM...come on, Thor. You and/or Coachmen could pummel Winnebago's EKKO with all of its problems. Those poor owners can't even use their showers (for real!). There needs to be a nautilus shower door instead of a dated and messy curtain. That pedestal table system seems inconvenient and antiquated, as well. A Lagun table with one or two post areas would be fabulous for remote working. I much prefer the Compass/Gemini 23TW (full-time bed). Updated AWD Transit...awesome! I would plunk down good money NOW for a rig with these alternate features.

Nice that it has a window up front but there appears to be no shade. You’ll die in the summer in the Florida sun. The 250 pound limit for the bed makes this RV a non-starter at any price!
