We have the 2017 Navion 24J loaded with everything but the auto level which eats ~200lbs. We LOVE our Navion coach box!! BTW Matt, the storage doors under the slideout DO Open up same as others cause Winnebago engineers put a detachable cable on the 2 doors so slideout does not hit doors when out. Just slip the cable end off and doors open up more when slideout is in. Took us 9 months to discover that!! Likes: increased solar, LP access, double pane windows and shades, Compressor refrigerator. Dislikes: 1&2 for the price , off-grid power...not lithium and not 3K inverter, so the compressor refrigerator now becomes a negative when boondocking, 3. the combination induction/ gas cooktop eats up too much room..We opted for the little portable induction cooktop. Love Winnebago's continuous Improvement and thoughtful engineering: such as cable and satellite connections, external solar panel connections, priority electrical relay giving priority to powering the refrigerator and the microwave, outstanding phone call support as well as online Technical and engineering support, interlocking roof to wall design, fully dipped Electro plated external parts panels, and about 100 other behind the wall higher-end engineering standards head-and-shoulders above any competition. ..especially any and all Thor motor homes.

I really like it for a single person with a couple of grandchildren sleepovers. Pros: Solar prep with two solar panels for the fridge, NO absorption fridge, good bathroom size and the sewer dump appears not to hang as low to the ground as most others (would really hate to knock it off--it happens).

Would be my number 1 choice if currently buying. Disagree with Andrea’s comment about the sink. I think the double sink with double tops is perfect. When doing food prep, one is open for access to water/sink and one is closed and serves as countertop. Dinette is fantastic, bathroom very well done and, as a tall person, prefer the corner bed option (all the Murphy bed options have Lilliputian beds).

I think all cargo doors should be side opening. This floor plan is great for the size of the motor home. The decor is great. I could full time in this coach.

This is the best Navion model (J) for urban camping. You can use the bed, kitchen, bath, dinning table and have plenty of room to move around with the slide in. I wish Winnebago would use plain silver gray paint outside just like Airstream Atlas, so that it would blend in on the street rather than scream "this is an RV"!

Three things I like: 1. The door 2. The sliding screen door 3. Placement of microwave. Three things I don’t like: 1. The slide switch above the refrigerator (I’d need a step stool!) 2. The dump is very low - prefer a macerator with electronic valves. 3. Step down to driving coach.

Three things I like are....the wet Bay Area, bunk over the cab and the bathroom. Three things I don’t like are...the curtain in the bedroom, lack of counter space-put an extension in, I like the screen door but I can see one of my dogs going straight through it-maybe just have the screen door have half a screen.

This bad boy is optioned out to the max: Full body paint, double pane windows, diesel genset, factory solar, auto levering. Those all add quite a bit to a std build price of a WBO.

This is actually listed as a class C. We have a 2021 24D model. I can say with confidence the 3 things I love and the 3 things I dislike. The outside storage doors are hell to get things in and out of especially if you have a bad back. If the slide is out you can forget about it. Why there aren’t blindside cameras is beyond me. The technology is there and it has all the other safety features. If you’re 5’4 like me the shower is a decent size. If you’re 5’10 like my partner then the shower is tiny and that towel bar has to be removed and stowed. What I LOVE about our 24D is the Murphy bed is super comfy and allows for lots of counter space. We opted for the recliners over the sofa and we love them. The small size of the motor home allows for easy access to most roads and is easy to park. We got ours at the end of August with every available upgrade and paid WAY less than the amount you quoted. Check those shades to make sure they work. We didn’t realize ours were installed upside down and had to get it repaired after we took delivery. And, it actually is very comfortable to ride in. Absolutely knocked out by the fact that Winnebago listened and put a porcelain toilet in a Merc chassis. HUGE props to Matt and Andrea for making this a 'thing'. The cargo doors could be fixed by making them open all the way up and putting a magnetic latch on them. Otherwise a great small RV.

Like 200 watt solar, diesel generator, u-dinette. Don’t like- corner bed(50 inches?) make a full wall slide and give at least 60 inches. Over an bunk ( make it bigger like Entegra and put window up front.

Definitely not my style but really nice! One thing people need to realize is that the materials to build motorhomes, trailers, and houses have skyrocketed in the past few months due to the Covid crisis. Don't be too hard on the manufacturers for the increase in prices, it's not all their fault. I'll have to say that I'm surprised at the space and functionality in this motorhome. A lot of outside storage for a class B+ or class C, whatever it really is. Nice interior, dash area, U shaped dinette and TV placement. The cabinets are really nice, the fridge is great, the bathroom is really nice with a great shower, and, of course, the PPPP! I have to agree about the outside storage door openings, I understand about the bed but it's really not for me!

Some RVers that I follow (RVLoveTravel) recently bought a 2017 Winnebago Navion 24J and love it, so I decided to check them out here. I really love the entire motorhome. I couldn't come up with three things I dislike! This could, possibly, be the model that we decide to purchase. Perfect size for two adults with two little dogs. No steps you have to remember in the middle of the night!

No they don't. Leisure Travel Van Wonder model is the only "Class B+" that I know of that offers a Ford Gas Transit. They started the Wonder as a Transit diesel but switched to gas last year.

I like this motorhome, but bed is small if you want two people and not a lot of counter space. Other than I I like it and I love colors of the cabinetry and European look. I like how the cabinetry closes and locks. It’s all really nice. Thank you Matt and Andrea.

Things I like: 1. Fuel mileage - 15 mpg seems to be the norm for these. 2. Solar system - good capacity with plenty of room to expand. 3. Exterior storage - great for a unit this size. Things I don't like: 1. Fuel capacities (diesel and propane) - diesel should be at least 40 gallons, not 24.5, and propane should be 20 gallons, not 12. 2. Television location in the living area - it's mounted too high for me (it hurts my neck looking up at it). It would be better lower. 3. Only a 2 burner stove top - 3 burners would be nicer (2 gas, one electric).

I prefer the Murphy bed setup the toilet paper holder they could have positioned on a higher position. Finally the exterior storage doors sideways. Otherwise, everything looks good.

3 things I like: 1. Love the cabinets 2. Love that it had solar panels already installed 3. I like the bathroom with the large shower and room for the toilet 🚽 PPPP! 3 things I dislike 👎: 1. Overhead bunk only has 250-300 lb capacity (I need at least 500, or just get rid of the bunk and replace with cabinets) 2. I hate the corner bed; impossible to make in the morning. I’d rather have 2 rear twin beds and move the bathroom up next to the dinette. 3. I hate flip up storage doors outside; they either need to open sideways, or all the way up 🔝.

I like the outside storage, the size of the shower and porcelain toilet, love the dinette. Dislike: outside storage doors lift up ( prefer sideways), no counter space (give me a round sink instead) and prefer a regular oven (not the microwave) to have more cabinet space, corner bed is not convenient. Likes: The 2 solar; propane and generator above axles, the wet bay; tv across from dinette; shower height not terrible. Dislike: Dinette doesn't have cup holders; prefer bumper for slinky/ladder first step; bunk could be sturdier; for that much money front seats could be cushier.

Much better design than from earlier this year. Looks to have much more space. Better thought out kitchen space and placement of the c-microwave, good job. Also have both solar and a QD generator is bonus points. I wonder if it is a voltra system.

I REALLY like these Navions. It is like you have all of the home conveniences, without the massive size of a lot of options out there. But, the price is a huge turn off !! My favorite floor plan of these is the 24D; we really liked it. You could do light traveling on forest service roads, use it to drive to the big city and stay overnight on the street just after watching a concert, or use it to tour around for a month or two. But.....we can not make the math work with regards to the price. I would need 30-40k taken off of the sale price to consider this. Safe travels to all!

Dislikes- small bed, and countertops. Countertops would be better with an undermount sink with the sink top cover boards that are then flush with the counter tops. It would make it much more functional. Likes, bathroom the layout and everything else. Nice review Matt and Andrea!

Dislikes: Price (not worth that), cargo doors are annoying, I'd like the entire toilet room to be a wet bath. It feels too tight. Likes: Dinette (I usually hate them), CCC is still low, I'd rather have storage space than a 250lb bunk above the cab.

In the bed area I would put a fold down Murphy, and on the back or bottom of the Murphy bed have a swing down desk then it would be easier to reach especially for the older folk. No place for c paps....

Dislikes: 1) Curtains - Anywhere. I don't know what you could do about it, but I don't like them. 2) Convection Microwave is too small. 3) Sink (which is beautiful) needs to be flush mounted to increase ,what is currently, non-existent counter space. 4) MSRP - WTH ??? 0000H PLease.. That is TDH (too damn high) Get serious Winnebago. The sale price should be the MSRP and the real price should be 30% off of THAT.. Likes: 1) Layout - for such a small rig it's really well laid out. 2) Kitchen sink, cook top and fridge are all very nice. 3) The U-shaped dinette. The best I've seen. 4) Decor. It's lovely. Great looking unit. Most of the time I'm solo full time since my wife still works and holds down a job and our sticks and bricks, so this unit isn't really suited for me. However, for someone who's out adventuring, traveling for work or simply traveling between homes, this is an ideal package. Really nice little unit, but it's still TDH !!! CHeers Joe P.

Agree with you that those storage doors would be better side opening. Are there side cameras? I actually like the double sinks, but there needs to be a place to put the coffeemaker. Flip up counter top would help space but not a coffee space. Exterior storage is great! Wish the bed had a slide for a bit more space. Do double pane windows help the interior temp and how much? On the fun side, I almost expect Andrea to push a bouncy trampoline up to catch you as you come off the roof. Be careful, Matt!

Your videos are wonderful, but I wish you would note provisions for CPAP machines (shelf and power outlet near the head of the bed). Sleep apnea has become common enough that a moment to point out provisions would be a very good thing.

These are really nice; the cargo weight capacity is a big stumbling point on these.....two people and minimal gear----you're overweight and unsafe. Another is the price----at that point there is a lot of other options. If you're going to get this, you really love it a lot.......

Hello Matt & Andrea. We dislike the exterior basement doors; corner bed - difficult to make the bed in the morning; and having only 24.5 gallons diesel fuel tank. Tank is insufficient for driving and attempting to dry camp with a diesel Onan 3.2 generator. Likes include having 2 solar panels; roof ladder; third break light; full body paint and entry door with a pocket screen. Best, Deb & Steve from Western Mass.
