Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited we are taking a look at the BEST off Road Class B in America! This is the 2022 Winnebago Revel 44E! This was the first class B manufacturer to make a B van like this and they have dominated the market! The Looks and all the extra add ons make this America's Favorite Class B!

What I think is the problem is the sticker shock someone gets when you compare the MSRP to what you’re getting. For the same price you can get a class C or A that’s bigger with bathrooms that have Prime pooping positions and toilets made of porcelain (and maybe some Art Deco too!) But these were made for outdoor people who boon dock and go riding on dirt bikes or 4x4’s and cook outside. Maybe someone makes a Class B that’s plusher with kitchen that has stove, a microwave oven, and a decent stove. Maybe someone can build a class B with a split bathroom either in the middle or at the end so you can take a shower and a toilet with a prime pooping position! Great video as usual and Andrea is as beautiful as ever.

There is a stove! It's an induction cooktop that stores in the drawer below and it's detached so you can plug it in inside or put it outside on that fold-down table or anywhere you have power. Indeed the Nautilus panel inside is ALL of your water so connecting to city water is not possible without having the doors open, unless you mod it and cut holes to snake it out to keep the doors closed. Although this is my #2 favorite B van (i'm in a Winnebago Solis now which is my #1), it's a darn shame that the prices have skyrocketed over the last couple of years. The 2020 MSRP was just $163k with typical retail around $121k. Anyone thinking of buying this: my recommendation is try to find a used one that's a couple years older. You'll get it for half the price and the 2022 is basically the same as previous years and they haven't made many changes.

Finally! I've been saying for years that the bathrooms should double as storage. I still think that it could be even more convenient to have slide out containers so that whatever you're storing doesn't fall off when you remove them. Back area is the most spacious I can recall in a van. Can you imagine what another foot or two of length would add. It would be a palace😆 I'd want a chair to fold down from the each side and table set up in that area to create a office space. Glad for the screen curtains but I'd want something more manageable like a screen door.

My dislikes are not much storage but I would where they shower is as storage and no stove but I would get a induction cook top. And there is no micro wave. My likes are the bed and counter space. That’s all I like. Thank you Matt and Andrea for shoring this class B.

Take out the back seat, put in a bigger fridge and a table between the front seats. Make it so you can take the toilet out to use it so you don't have to empty your storage. Then it would be good for me.

We were at RVOne of Albany just before Memorial Day this year. Darci’s son lives in Troy just a few miles away from this dealer. They were so nice there and had the parts we needed to fix our toilet.

Hate cassette toilets (full it’s going to weigh about 48 lbs), I prefer to have a 12 gal black tank. I love the idea of the front lounge, but in this case that seat is too small for two, the table is weird, needs to be a better system. I think problem is that MB chassis is too short. Lack of windows makes it way too dark and claustrophobic. Best part is the interior garage and Drings.

Newer cassette toilets come with wheels on them and a telescoping handle so you can wheel it away just like a suitcase!

If you look at the window on the sliding door, you 'll notice it is crooked. More evidence that RV manufactures are rushing production with no QC. crazy for that price!

Get the GLSS package for it, more storage, and a better place to sit and eat and work etc....I do think you have to put the water in the back, that is a huge bummer for me. I would like the older model where you can fill from the outside.

The Revel does have an induction stovetop. The dealer must have removed it. I know you dislike the class b’s and tend to disparage them. There is no better RV to get away from the developed campground, park in a normal parking space than a class b especially the Revel. Your snarky comments and attitude towards class b’s is apparent and really ruin your normally entertaining reviews.

I would buy an electric pressure cooker with a sous vide function. The sous vide cooking water can reuse for some time. Hence, I don't think I would use the induction cooktop that much. I don't believe that I need the microwave either.

Again, and I am so glad you guys finally mentioned it. Why is the city fill inside? There are times when people have to pull into an RV park. I hope people like freezing. It is lithium so better not take this some place cold. That exhaust will be gone the minute you go over something. Take that seat out and extend the bathroom. You could also put in a bigger fridge. They need to put a brush bar or something over the top because the minute you go under a low hanging tree it is all gone. They could very easily with those seats gone put a tv in and a microwave. I am glad to see the CCC has gone up, but Winnebago and all the other people who make 4 x 4 need to talk to people who actually go four wheeling. The Australian's are doing a great job making products to do just that.

This una is 'ok'. But I would need upgrades. TV, mobile satelite w/data. Small generator. Stove, even if was a single induction burner. Convection Microwave oven. Bigger cassette for toilet. However, if I am truly off grid, I would likely poop in the woods, like a bear. Or if I'm at an RV Park, likely use bath house. For myself... Bed always down and store water jugs under it. (6 or 8 of them) I think maybe for a single guy, like myself, i might consider a slightly longer unit, but don't know if they make them on the longer wheelbase model, Nice review guys, btw,,,,no body will kidnap you, when you're out in the middle of nowhere

I love Class Bs for full time. This is more of a weekender type Class B. It looks like they are improving the quality of the Revel and offering a nicer interior than the first ones that I think were very bare bones. Is the exhaust near the pet tie down? I couldn't buy one of these (if I has the money) as it doesn't fit my usage. That said, for those who is designed for, it offers some great features. The good: 1. The loft bed/garage. 2. Solar. 3. 4x4 4. The storage option for the wet bath. The bad: 1. Limited to no Cooking options. This is for outdoors boondocking. At least throw in a grill. Lol Personally I'd rather get an Airstream Tommy Bahama Class B for my needs and usage.

I think if I had this as a van, I would replace the toilet with a waterless toilet. They are slightly expensive and you have to get the refills for them, and I have seen them work. It’s pretty good, there’s not a lot of smell in a works pretty well. But I think it’s well worth it if you’re going to travel in a van like that for a number of months. I don’t particularly like going to the campground bathroom at 12 midnight. And I don’t like that poopy cassette dump. Yuck 🤢

It doesn’t it’s stock 4x4. Now the Jayco he mentioned does have a slightly modified suspension but doesn’t do much.

The rear passenger seats are garbage and not feasible to transport 4 people for any type of distance. The Jayco Terrain nailed it with their back seat and Winnebago should follow suit ASAP.

claustrophobic ... too small. as well as all your dislikes ..i agree with them. I do like the elevator bed ...great idea , but don't like that it does not have cross ventilation . I'd be struggling in something this small and to have to remove shelves just to go to the bathroom ... just wouldn't work for me.

Do the front seats turn around? If not, can we make it so they can turn around. Such a small RV they need to swivel!!! Not keen on having to carry the toilet container. I like bent able to lift the bed up like that. But, no seating under it. The price it really high, I thought it was going to be much lower. Even, if it were $140,000, it is out of my range. I do like it being small enough to park in a regular parking spot.

Yes, the Revel’s seats do swivel and it does come with an induction stovetop. Matt’s dislike of class b’s shines through very brightly in this review. I have a Revel, it’s my fifth RV and the best one we’ve owned. BTW the bathroom is small but very usable unless you’re over 275lbs.

While there is a butt for every seat, it is not my butt. This is aimed at the well to do off grid person. For me not even good as a day tripper with no cook surface. At this price point I would get a C or used A. Maybe spend half this on a conversion van.

The Revel does have an induction cooktop. As for price off the lot pricing is about $155k which is less than a custom van of equal features.

It does have an induction cooktop. Unfortunately, it looks as if the dealer didn’t have it in the unit. BTW the cassette does lock if you’re worried about someone getting in there.

They're starting to show up used, very little mileage, as #vanlife didn't work out - or new from people didn't claim the vans they ordered a year ago. I think the market has peaked, so keep your eyes peeled.

So many people are buying them that Thor, Jayco, Entegra, and Pleasureway have releases copies in the last year, and there are whole companies making their living producing Revel accessories. One makes an entire lounge that fits under the bed.

There is simply nothing good to say about this vehicle (not an RV). Mostly unusable amenities and considerably claustropobic. Preposterously priced to boot = WTF.

4x4 in a van is such a waste of money and a service nightmare which a Mercedes already is anyway. you don't take a 200k van offroading . one screw up mean months in a repair shop waiting on parts and possibly 10k or more in repair bills on a Mercedes. not to mention how top heavy it makes the van which is a rollover risk on and off road. plus that price is crazy I saw a 2017 class C on a Mercedes diesel chassis with a slide and 20,000 miles another dealer advertised on KZbin for under 70k and it looked new. and it actually had a diesel generator which I will take over lithium batteries anyday for reliable power. plus it had a actual bathroom with a good sized shower. I think new RV manufacturers and dealers are pricing themselves into a market crash. I wouldn't be surprised if manufacturers stop building rvs for a while because people stop buying them and so do the dealers. I'm going to take a small used class C or even a B+ anyday for a fraction of the cost and double the space of a new class B.
