You can never pray too much. And God's timing is always perfect, even though we become weary, thinking He either isn't listening or He's not answering. But He's doing both, just in His time. You say you are not a religious man. I don't believe you need to be a religious fanatic for God to hear you. However, He does long for a personal relationship with us, to take time out of our day to spend with Him and Him only. He wants us to read His word daily. The Bible is known as God's love letters to us. I think that's a beautiful analogy. And, He likes it when we have fellowship with other believers, because its strengthens all of us walking with Him. We learn from one another. And the King James Bible is the very hardest for me to understand. I can only speak from my own experience, but getting a NLT, (New Living Translation) that I was finally able to dig deep into God's Word, and gave me a much better understanding. I began to really thirst to learn more. So maybe, God wants you to develop and deepen a relationship with Him, before He sends the soul mate you're praying for. That will lead you to a good Christian woman, and if you make God the top, front and center of your marriage, its much more likely to work out. God will see to it. But He does desire that relationship with us before anything else. Just some food for thought. May God bless you and answer all your prayers, and one day soon, bring you the love of your life.

A man recently entered my life who is absolutely amazing... kind, respectful, loving, shares a lot of the same interests as me, complements my personality in all of the right ways, and is always willing to be there for me when I need him He's exactly what I've prayed for since I was younger... It's funny though because if certain circumstances hadn't lined up the way that they did we may have never met or if we had it would've been at the wrong time I pray that God has placed us in each other's life for the long haul, and that we are truly meant for one another
