Compared to some of the mega celebrity mansions which are all beige and minimal, this is so gold. I hate “dead” interior architecture like that where you can see no soul but only see the designer’s label everywhere. This type of a house I can totally live the rest of my life. Every corner has a human touch

Absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Maximalist, but well coordinated, and balanced. I especially adore the mixing of patterns. Very well mix of traditional, eclectic, and shabby chic decor styles. Oh how I yearn to own an older build in the future.

What a talented woman Pearl is and quite lucky to have honed in and blossomed from it! An amazing home, so gorgeous! I love the huge kitchen and the lighting throughout is dreamy. I love how she calls her lounge/living room the front room. Only people of Pearls generation and before will know this, lounges are often in the back in modern day houses, but Victorians always had their lounges at the front of the house where they entertained. Nowadays people tend to entertain in the kitchen or open plan areas.

I didn’t know about Pearl Lowe until I fell in love with Rachel Ashwell’s Shabby Chic style. Then I found Pearl’s home through Rachel since they’re friends. I just love how Pearl’s not afraid of color, pattern or black. It’s funny seeing Rachel’s style because it’s very mych light dainty and airy and then Pearl’s definitely rocker chick.
