@wolfman21 he was disqualified because tungsten is an illegal weight, yes. But it's illegal because if for some bizarre case that it falls out. It will tear one of those cars in two. Was well its gives a huge advantage. Tungsten weights more than lead. Giving a hugh advantage to where you can put the weight.

No tungsten weights more then lead takes smaller pieces to weight same as lead more density so you can add it precisely where you want with out worrying about not enough room as in lead you gotta worry about room amd it cost way less 3 dollars a lb verses 20 dollars a pound I get my racecar led for free from tire shops it's a cost thing lead is bigger and will cause more damage then tungsten will

it's weighs like 1.74 times more than lead but a small cube is like 1800 bucks. they mount it on axle tubes to add unsprung weight. I guess it's a cost rule.

It's a cost thing it's 30 dollars a lb versus 2 dollars and you can use smaller pieces and attach it to precise spots on frome lead you have to worry about space is why we mount the lead on frame rail in a box you never mount Weight on the axle tubes of rear end or on rear end at all your wrong

sucks that he was disqualified over something that doesn't even give you an edge. Everyone knows tungsten isn't allowed because most teams can't afford it. Still, they shouldn't have put it in the car.
