I appreciate that you showed pretty much the whole route. A lot of videos only show the intro, the crux and the chains which I think is a shame. Such a gorgeous piece of limestone and the movement seems so perfect.

The music is Bheka - Boa Kusasa. Pretty obscure track and artist and a rad selection. I really wish folks would make it a firm practice to credit the artists, musicians are sonoften left unnoted in the credits. This track was massive and went so well with the route, also a daring choice compared to the vast majority of other films out there. Matty crushed this, beautiful footage, another mellow banger.

Congratulations! Very nice film. But it seems like it is mostly not the actual send footage. There are way more angles than you would have on a send go given how much time you have put it, and there are a few obvious continuity errors. But I assume the point was to give the best footage possible, rather than uncut send?

While I appreciate the different angles, the edit is annoying -- it looks like he had fallen at 2:38 because he's way below the highest clipped draw. Then he finishes the route and there is a second rope for a cameraman and then a drone shot with him alone at the anchors. Same with the cheeky smile at the 5 minute mark -- he smiles at a cameraman next to him and then the next shot is a drone with him alone on the wall. Just show the send as it happened. No one needs the overly edited version.

Can anyone explain to me how this was climbed clean but from 235-238 it cuts off and then all the sudden the rope is clipped the draw 6ft above him? I’m just a weekend trad dad though so my brain is probably not advanced enough for these camera climbing stick clipping shenanigans. Like did he really go up 6 feet clip the draw then come back down and keep climbing or?

awesome cut! beautiful shots! gorgeous climb and ascent! feel slightly abused since obviously the footage is an amalgam of various tries, or there would have been a lot of camera ops in various shots. but that's filmmaking and that was good filmmaking! I made a video of a guy once that was mad at me since I cut it as if he redpointed it and he hadn't. i didn't do it on purpose...i was trying to show the entire route beta. i never do anything right.
