Lol no, it's a result of workplace technology changing the amount and type of work men did, it was the invention of contraception which allowed women into the workplace, it was the invention of the steam and then combustion engine. Do you think women throughout history were just sitting at home doing nothing because the men wouldn't let them out? That is ridiculous, they were busy at home raising children, doing housework and other necessary things that had to be done. It was with the industrial revolution and subsequent workers rights movements fighting for things like free weekends and less hours worked which allowed men to share the load of house work and women to join the workforce. Women would not be in the workforce without contraception either
