Did Harold say $450-475 million for Soto?😳 maybe for 10-12 years but still wouldn’t bring the revenue back to that team or city back in jersey sales, sponsors and cultural fan base like Ohtani who has been a huge gold mine for the Dodgers, the city and the fans including the Japanese and world fan base.

i like the tigers chances of making a WS run they had a strong finish to the season making the playoffs knocking out the favorite Astros and ultimately falling to the O's. but still a great team they got some money to spend they can add to their core and be better.

FWIW, the question was, "Which team that *missed* the postseason could make a WS run?"

The Soto contract is going to be the biggest overpay ever. He's not worth $500 million and if the Mets first offer of 660 million is real, he's probably getting 700 million. And he's no way near as good as Shohei Ohtani.
@jeffkiewiet806Күн бұрын
Soto is 4 years younger than ohtani and is better at everything offensively but power and stolen bases. He strikes out far less and the power numbers aren’t that far off. You take the pitching out of it and I would much rather give a 26 year old 600 million over a guy with 2 Tommy John’s and over 30.

For real Soto is worth at least $450 million for playing mediocre defense and having a great bat to ball skills

Hes only worth 600 million In Fenway Park's Left Field for 81 games! Lets go John!

Why did they avoid naming the NL team that missed the postseason to make a WS run? They were supposed to do both the AL and NL right?

Question clearly says which “team”. Doesn’t say teams or one from each league

Yankees won't resign Soto. They should trade Stroman and Cortez to the Pads for Arraez (1B) and Cronenworth (2B). Jazz can continue playing at third or move to center.

O's should pass on Burns, sign Freid, Buhler, Scott, Bregman, and trade for Skubal, Crochet, or Gilbert.
@johnpestano222 күн бұрын
the Yankees will be just fine without Soto we'll spread the money around plug these holes and be ready to roll.we don't need Soto to be great he helped us a lot we got to the WS and lost which proves we have more work to do. we're not a good team we still have weaknesses on this roster.

Sad when Harold is away, as Matt is way to arrogant. Not a fan of Dumpster either, as he is such a homer.
