As a police officer I was on patrol with a colleague one very clear summer evening. Having patrolled Selston, we turned right at the roundabout to head down the A611 towards Hucknall. Just past the bus stop on the left, an unmistakable human figure drifted out from the woods on the left across the road right in front of us. Semi transparent with a clear head, body and long dress it was heading from the direction of Newstead Abbey towards Annesley Hall. My colleague was driving and slammed the brakes on turning as white as what we’d just seen. We watched it for several seconds as it disappeared into the woodland separating the north and southbound carriageways

Fantastic video, I have been to most of these places and did know about the history of most of them but not the haunting- you want to go to Elvaston Castle, I have been through the grounds at night by myself and have seen a few things there, plus felt someone pulling on my jacket near the castle

Really interesting about the Irish named girl who was brought in secretly via the cave tunnel network up to the castle, mentioned and drawn by Medium and Psychic Artist Glenn (Boddice) @41.11 mins. This was often mentioned by Mortimer's Hole cave tour guides many, many years ago. (1970's) (the cave tour guides didn't say a name but often mentioned a woman who was brought in this way - who was reputed to be a mistress of the King)...

Glad you enjoyed the documentary and thanks for the feedback, especially the info re the girl and castle… helps to validate the evidence

I really enjoyed this! Love the history & the stories. The retro 80s music was a bit much, had me giggling 😂 but beyond that, well done 👏🏻

I've been inside Annesley Hall twice (on private visits in small groups, when that was still allowed) and both times I felt something on the back of my neck in one of the upstairs rooms. Someone has some photos of me in that room surrounded by a lot of orbs. Sadly I never got round to visiting the gentleman to see them and he was quite elderly, but I no longer have his contact details. Such a shame the church at Annesley Hall and the grounds are no longer open to the public - we used to go there quite often. The church now has a new roof. I've also been down in the caves under Ye Olde Salutation Inn twice and the Galleries of Justice several times, but didn't detect anything in either of those. Thank you for such a detailed documentary ❤

The church is still accessible. The new roof is on the east wing of the hall itself, not the church
@estellesilver82995 ай бұрын
@@gevaraven8132 there is definitely a new roof on the church as well - I drive past there twice a week. It may be accessible again now, but there was a time when the gates from the road were locked.
@gevaraven81325 ай бұрын
@@estellesilver8299the gates have always been locked. Access is by climbing up through a small wall next to the church. You can see the new roof from the road but this is on the hall itself, not the church which is to the left of the hall as you look from the road

realy interesting video and explaining about how it started that they have known to have this special gift i myself close up because i do not know how to handle i also thought is was normal to see those things and look in orbs etc. but people around you look at you if you are a freak and crazy but its not but that is something you find out later but there are bad spirits that suck your energie and make you feel tired and that is not nice at all rhank you for sharing

I was having my early evening walk and when I reached an almost deserted road near the cemetery, I was about to encounter a young girl who is walking towards me. She disappeared amongst the thorny bushes.

I was once in the old Trip, the galleon used to hang from the ceiling in them days, any way we were sat the (3 of us) there was just a couple sat opposite us, I took a photo after looking at it sometime after, there was another person a man in shabby clothing, sat at the table were the couple were sat, but we all swore there was only us and the couple opposite in the bar at that time.
