And even THEN, they had the game won if Smitty can hold on to a ball that hit him in the hands.

I’m from Philly, and have been watching all local post game coverage, and in the locker room interview after game, they asked Baun about the punch out, and he referred to it as “shots on goal”😂, he said “we practice it every week”💪… my favorite part of game tho was when we had Washington D so scared of the tush push, they almost had to give us the touchdown as a penalty awarded, n then basically just had to accept we were walking it in 😂

I've been waiting for two season for them to start using the hard count for exactly that. Why do the tush push at all if you can get the other team to jump that easily? But the 1 yard line is not the place to do it, not when you only get 1/2 a yard out of it. We should be reaping 1st downs off the tush push hard count.

The reason why people didn't want to give the Eagles credit for being the best team in the NFL was because Hurts was the QB. If it was anyone else (Purdy for example), the NFL talking heads would have been all over how 'masterful' Purdy is, not talking about any other 49ers. With the Eagles, they want to talk about everyone BUT Hurts positively.

This was an incredible performance by the Birds, and a joy to watch. If everyone shows up at this level, I really believe not only are they the best team in the NFL right now, but that they are close to unstoppable, an inevitable force. It all clicked here! Please for the love of the game and all of us who bleed green, do it one more time! I also need to shout out the coaches, play callers, and QB 1 for mixing it up, showing some creativity and spreading it around. On the first play. You and everyone thought, 10--13 yards. But first contact is at 15 yards and second at 20 yards. Yes, the spin move was cool, but he gained so much ground without it. To me it his ability to run North-South that is so impressive. He is always gaining yards, the moves are nice, but he keeps gaining yards with his speed and hitting the openings. Flashy moves are for highlight reels, yards are for wins.

The Eagles have too many weapons, #1, #11, #26, the other incredible runners and not to mention the best fumble causing recovery team in the NFL. the Chiefs are suspect in the secondary and do not have a run defense that can contain ANY Eagle player. The Eagles will need to keep the pressure on the QB and show how defense is done, The run will dominate this game
