It may be a steal but still kinda concerned after what happened when they signed Irv smith Jr. if u agree. I do like this move and if he plays with Hudson, Sample and maybe a rookie tight end, I think they’ll look good for the TE room. I’m looking forward to see him doing the Griddy with Chase, Boyd or Higgins if they stay.

I don't like that it's a 1 year deal too, but Gesicki is WAY better than Smoth Jr thank goodness. I'm pretty optimistic!

The irv smith jr signing and Gesicki signing are two different things. Irv never had a good season and was never thought of as a good starting tight end. Gesicki on the other hand had two back to back 700 yard seasons and was looked at as one of the best tight ends before having a bad year in New England.

@@ryanwolf620 Maybe I mean they really wanted Hurst back after he proved to be the better tight end. Now Smith is with KC as Kelce’s backup and we have 2 future tight ends with Gesicki doing the griddy. Based on that I think they’ll be ok especially with Tanner Hudson who proved to be reliable last season.

Dunno if hes gonna be a starter or not? What? Its simple. Sample our blocking TE and gesicki is recieving TE and slot receiver. Depends on what play we running to start the game. Gesicki #1 on depth chart unless we draft bowers

need a right tackle (prefer draft day starter quality or a good FA), another wide receiver (draft probably) and a DT similar to Reader. Maybe a later round RB because Moss not the answer.
