I love this song. When I was in a depression my son took me to a concert of his in DC. It was the night the Nationals won - I hoped you would play this song - my son told me not to get my hopes up because it was "old". You said ok I'm moved to play this song tonight, I haven't played it live in a long time - and I swear you looked right at me. When the song started my son grabbed my hand and said " see mom, this music is healing". Thank you

I’m a little late to the game, but I stumbled upon Matt Maeson a year ago and since then I have been enthralled by his music, and especially this song. I don’t know if you will see this Matt, but I am so thankful that you wrote this song. The first time I heard it, I cried because the lyrics mirrored exactly what I was going through and the events in my life and what I was doing to myself. This song actually made me want to get better. So thank you for making this incredible masterpiece that I can see myself in. I don’t know what would have happened if I had not found this song a year ago.

‘When minors get so major.’ This is incredible why is no one talking about the beauty of this. I coukd analyse this song over and over, how it begins and ends in the same way, meaning as if he’s thinking through his death only to decide in the end that it’s what he wants and he wants the razor. Its a masterpiece.

I like to imagine myself in my own music videos and in about every single one of them I imagine a road, I'm walking down it something is wrong with my leg, I'm limping. I'm bleeding. I look over and see memories I made with people I don't know anymore or people who are gone. Some of the time I'm just sitting in my room with my hands on my head rocking back and forth because if someone actually feels like this man expresses in his songs. Then I'm actually not alone.

I’ve always listened to music for the sound mainly, and not really the meaning behind the song, so it took me a while to realize the truth behind the lyrics. But I still listen to it as if it’s a good vibe and it always gets me in a good mood. I swear the world gets more vibrant when this song comes on and I love it, especially that immense build up that can forever send chills down my spine. If you wanna see the world in a more beautiful way, the way it should be. Than forget about the meaning, have your hole heart and soul focus on the beats, the sounds, his different vocal ranges, small background noises, each individual instrument that constructed this piece of art, and your whole demeanour will change :)
