I love this song. When I was in a depression my son took me to a concert of his in DC. It was the night the Nationals won - I hoped you would play this song - my son told me not to get my hopes up because it was "old". You said ok I'm moved to play this song tonight, I haven't played it live in a long time - and I swear you looked right at me. When the song started my son grabbed my hand and said " see mom, this music is healing". Thank you

I’m a little late to the game, but I stumbled upon Matt Maeson a year ago and since then I have been enthralled by his music, and especially this song. I don’t know if you will see this Matt, but I am so thankful that you wrote this song. The first time I heard it, I cried because the lyrics mirrored exactly what I was going through and the events in my life and what I was doing to myself. This song actually made me want to get better. So thank you for making this incredible masterpiece that I can see myself in.
