I tried this deep conditioner a year ago and it just sat on my hair as well as tangled my hair. I was very disappointed the curl quench line is much better. I want to try the vanilla bean line.

I wasn’t a fan of the coconut line in the orange bottles. I was actually super disappointed. I tried this mask and I didn’t hate it but it wasn’t great either. Appreciate your honesty.

I have never tried the Maui Moisture brand of products. Thank you for sharing your honest opinion of this line. My hair does not like coconut oil I have learned either. If I give Maui Moisture a try I will do the Awapui line. Thanks for sharing this information!

Thanks for the review. I got that line in a curlbox some years back and it was very drying. If I remember correctly I only thing I liked was the mask. 🌞🌞🌞

I recently reviewed the Kinky Tresses line and I really liked it. It is very moisturizing. Some people are over Shea Moisture but their original Coconut and Hibiscus line is really moisturizing to me. Hope this helps; I tried to give you two different price ranges.

I tried the deep conditioner a few years back and absolutely hated it! I couldn’t believe how awful it made my hair feel. The Maui Moisture conditioner in the blue bottle works well on my hair. Not sure if you tried that one

Nope, I haven't tried many Maui Moisture products. Only this line, the Awapuhi line and I think I tried the Coconut Smoothie. I do have a few more products from Maui that I need to try so hopefully they work for me. Thanks for sharing and for tuning in.

I have used that shampoo. I didn’t really feel like it gave my hair a good cleanse. Yes, it lathers but when I rinse it out, my hair feels more like it’s been co-washed. I tried Maui’s Coconut conditioner. IMO the product was too thick for a bottle. It was a struggle to squeeze it out. So I won’t buy their conditioners again. Too much trouble 😂

What's the conditioner with the most slip, in your opinion? I've used suave coconut conditioner for years because it has the most slip, by far, of others I've tried. My issue is it's not hydrating enough, so I'm looking for another

If you check out my "favorite leave-ins/hair milks" playlist or my "favorite conditioners" playlist they may be able to help you. I have a lot of favorites and since I don't know if your speaking of rinse out, leave-in or deep conditioners and I don't know your climate, etc. it is hard for me to answer your question. It was meh to me. I have tried the vanilla too and was meh. I will use it on my son's hair as his curls are very loose 3a low porosity. My hair is 3b, c and 4a high porosity. Haven't tried the shampoo yet.

Its weird i really liked the conditioner, i find i get alot of slip when i add water and work it in it fine. I also dont like heavy products not even conditioners so maybe thats why.

I can't answer that. Not all low porosity people like the same products or look for the same thing in products. You need to decide if your hair ikes this DC or not.

I tried that deep conditioner a year ago and it was ABSOLUTELY TRAGIC. The moment it touched my hair it sat on top and gave 0 moisture or slip and ruined my entire wash day. Its honestly worse than regular 2$ white ppl conditioner, at least for my hair.
