Hello Debra! I only highlight my hair once a year or every 2 years (specially when there’s a pandemic 😆) I ask for the highlights or balayage to start far from the roots (kind of like an ombré) and to be very light in density. I want a natural look that will grow nicely overtime so I don’t have to redo them every 6months. I hope that’s helpful 💕
