Musically these songs featured in this episode showcase a special and spiritual dimension of Rahman Saab. He's truly god sent! Ofcrs, Javed Ali was lucky to be picked by Rahman to sing for him more than one song and most of them were timeless classics that he sung for him. And all of them got featured well in this episode. Rahman, too, is lucky to get the right singers at the right time throughout his career. Though, I still don't rate these as Rahman's all time best but they're for sure add a different layer and cream to his varied, multi-faceted compositions!

@@O2india yes, ofcourse I remember what he told about how the Sufi trend picked up with Rahman's arrival. There were Sufi elements in many of his songs since Chayyan chayyan became a cult hit! Ofcrs, being an ardent devotee himself has what made him contribute a lot more to the world of Sufi than just a few elements here and there!
