One of the most influential pioneers would be Jussi Raittinen, who just recently passed on. He was a cultural figure, who worked to better rights of musicians, and performed also Country music, which is trending now: "Jussi Raittinen - Nashville - Tennessee (1976)". Danny brought a stage show to Finland, and was influential on the business side of music: "Armi Ja Danny - Laserajassa 1978 (FINNISH TV SPECIAL)". Wigwam was one of the first Finnish bands, which got noted abroad: "Wigwam - Grass for Blades". Antti "Irwin Goodman" Hammarberg and Vexi Salmi created this popular provocative Bob Dylan type character: "Irwin Goodman - Ei tippa tapa". Dave Lindholm was one the first names of Finnrock; Rock sang in Finnish about Finnish things: "Isokynä Lindholm - Jazzikansa tulee". Hurriganes' first album was the best selling Finnish album in Finland for ten years. They also got noted abroad: "Hurriganes - Get On". Hector took the Finnish Rock lyrics to another level: "Hector - Lumi teki enkelin eteiseen". Juice further rooted Finnrock, and he's regarded as one the best lyricists and an intellectual of Finnrock: "Juice Leskinen - Jyrki boy". Rauli Badding Somerjoki left a mark with his voice and tragic life: "Rauli Badding Somerjoki - Paratiisi". Sleepy Sleepers later became Leningrad Cowboys: "Leningrad Cowboys & The Red Army Choir - Gimme all your lovin'". Maarit was one of the first modern era female popstars: "Maarit - Jäätelökesä". Eppu Normaali is the all time best selling FInnrock band: "Eppu Normaali - Kitara, taivas ja tähdet live". The Zen Circus has covered one of their early (Punk) songs: "The Zen Circus - Poliisi Pamputtaa Taas (Eppu Normaali Cover)". Hanoi Rocks is most likely the most influential Finnish band abroad: "Hanoi Rocks - Don't You Ever Leave Me (Music Video)". J Karjalainen is one of the Finnrock icons: "J. Karjalainen - Mennyt Mies (virallinen musiikkivideo)". Dingo caused Dingomania in the mid 80s: "Dingo: Levoton Tuhkimo (live 1986)". An Estonian Dingo cover: "Mari-Leen "Rahutu tuhkatriinu" live". Leevi and the Leavings is loved for the catchy synth melodies and clever funny lyrics: "Leevi and the Leavings - Pohjoiskarjala". Kingston Wall has become a cult band: "Kingston Wall - With My Mind (Live) (Video)". Apulanta is one of the most popular (Metal) bands singing in Finnish: "Apulanta - Armo (live)". HIM is one the bands, which made Finnish Rock 'a thing' abroad: "HIM - Right Here In My Arms (Official Video)". Early Rasmus: "The Rasmus - Frog". Lauri Tähkä is one of the most popular male artists of the past decade in Finland: "LAURI TÄHKÄ - MORSIAN". Haloo Helsinki! is one of the most pupular new generation Rock bands: "Haloo Helsinki! - Beibi". Couple of influential Metal bands not covered on the video: "Stone - The Day of Death", "Children Of Bodom - In Your Face" and "TURISAS - Battle Metal",

This list has such a great collection of songs, I wish someone would make a playlist of all these songs ❤ To keep it simple, the two songs from this list I recommmend reacting to first are Hanoi Rocks - Tragedy and Hurriganes - Get on. Hanoi Rocks was massively popular world wide, especially in Asia, back in the day, and the lead singer Micheal Monroe is still one of the ultimate Finnish rock icons. Hanoi rocks was the band that directly inspired Guns 'n Roses

Yeah, Get On was born because it was originally supposed to be just a filler, as the number of tracks recorded at that stage was deemed insufficient to fill a complete album. According to Remu Aaltonen, both the music and the words were the result of improvisation. Remu said Cisse Häkkinen that play beginning Chuck Berry-Johnny B. Goode and after that Remu started throwing words. That's why they make almost no sense.
