How thick would the ice have to be in order to hold a Maus? 🤔

We use the formula P=Ah^2 Where P =load (kg) h =ice thickness (cm) A =parameter that depends on the strength of the ice So, as it turns out, 30 inches of ice can hold 70 tons. 30 inches is 76.2cm 70 tons is 70000kg If we apply these values into P=Ah^2 we find that A=12 Therefore, assuming that A=12 and that the ice on the Glacier map on WoT is of optimal quality, we can rearrange the original equation to get h=square root of P/A The Maus weighs approximately 188tons or 188000kg, so h=Square root of 188000/12 So to answer our query, the thickness of optimal quality ice required to hold a Maus is approximately: 125.16cm or 49.3 inches

what was the stragetgy in the second 1/4? blocking the shooting angle at the enemay for team mates? and then aiming at the more rarely peeking tanks insted of the obvious, easier to target? at least it looked like many missed opportunities. Very lucky that TL-1 and T110 did not spent gold.

Why leave lower plate outside/exposed?

Angled lower plate is hard to shoot at , if you angle it at 30° or something. they cant pen .the lower plate is small and covered by the tracks on the sides.

@@mackunaima test it out yourself, you don't side scrape with maus, yes you can but its easier to expose lower plate at an angle , you bait the enemy and then shoot when they reload.
