Колодка и детали УСМ сделаны методом литья, до сих пор встречал только фрезерованные варианты. Детали настолько идеально сделаны, что это напоминает современную копию.

It would be beneficial if the warning below was added to the video. The coupling that holds the spring in can be inserted upside down, and the lock assembly and the gun fully assembled. BUT THE FIRST TIME THE SLIDE IS RACKED, THE GUN WILL JAM AND CANNOT BE UNJAMMED NOR DISASSEMBLED. Only an expert gunsmith very familiar with Broomhandles can drill a hole through the frame, use a special pick to lift the upside down coupling enough to allow disassembley, and braze the hole closed afterwards.

A few years ago there was a video about a special pick being sold which allowed reaching and moving that part without drilling the hole. I don't remember who was making them, and haven't even seen the video iteself in years, but the pick does exist.

thanks for this video. i got my c96 yesterday and while field stripping the disconector fell of but when i put it back on i had trouble with hammer not staying cocked and trigger not working. then from this video i figured out the hammer spring and disconector were in wrong spot then i got it working. i will try to fully dissasemble and reassemble lock frame later
