Great review Chris, I shoot a custom KS Arms Wolverine 2 lug in 300 Win Mag in a GRS Bifrost, and am ordering the Fenris for my heavy barrel 308 Howa, I love the GRS feel and adaptability, best stock ever.Great to see some night optic use, that is a no-no in Canada, unfortunately we have strict firearms control issue.

I had a M18 in .223 couple of yrs ago. It was very accurate and fun to shoot but it tended to get slightly rusty after every hunting on the system but not the barrel which seems to had a better blueing.

You say that its a 24inch barrel and 22 mm diameter. When i visited my local gunshop they tell me its only available in a 22inch with 19mm diameter barrel in 6.5 creedmoor . And also when you go to the Mauser website it states the same shorter smaller diameter barrel. Just wondering was this a special setup that they had at the shooting show you were at ?

Know some that haved M18s for hunting and they are rapt. Was wondering how does the fore end grip feel in hand, plus at a standing or kneeling unassisted out hunting. How is the balance. Oh. and great review as always.

Brilliant Rifle. To bad GRS dont appear to be selling these Stocks separately. Ive got a Mauser M18 "Waldjagd" edition that im very happy with but a GRS shaft would be a nice improovement for it i feel.
