I have the B1.2 10x42 and a factor that influenced my purchase is the minimal packaging and a binocular case or harness was NOT included. I think the accessories is perfect. The B3 6x30 is my next binocular purchase. Nice review. Thank you.

Great Review . It will help once I receive my B.3 8x30 on Thursday. I bought a pair at the PA Sport show on the 11th. I liked that they were very crisp and lightweight because I will be using them for Bowhunting.

Suggest buying the sub $150 Nikon P7 8-30x and you'll be really shocked when you compare both side by side.

Been looking at these and kowa genesis 8x33. Sounds like Maven for the money is great value.

You can sometimes purchase the demo units at an even better price. I did that for my B3's and I love them.

Buy the sub $150 Nikon P7 8x30 you'll be really pleased how much better it really is compared to the Maven and Kowa. Don't let the much cheaper price of the Nikon P7 fool you.
