MAVERICK STRADA MT speed test

I try out some new wheels on the Strada MT and we will see the speed difference between them and the stock wheels which are much larger. We will also see the speed difference between 2S Liion and NiMH batteries. Bonus speed run at the end!

hi, im new to rcs and brought one of these, it comes with a 7.2v 3000mah battery do you think it would be fine to put a same voltage 7.2v 5000mah battery inside,to make it last longer? thanks

Yes of course. More mah is always OK but never exceed the Voltage maximum of the ESC.

Can these run lipos?

Yes I run mine on 2s lipos with standard esc and brushless motor ,I did run it briefly on a 3s lipo ,and it was stupid fast ,but don't think electronic,s would last long with that extra voltage from 3s ,but 2s is a massive difference in speed and torque from the standard nimh battery that comes standard with truck .....hope this helps
