Finally, someone that has properly shown the correct installation of these vent visors. So many people show to install them on the rubberized part of the run channel. Double face tape does not adhere correctly to rubber and this is why so many people complain that their vent visors keep "falling off" they are falling off because they weren't installed correctly. The double face tape should land on the painted part of the door frame not on the rubberized part of the frame run channel. Unfortunately, AVS and FORD don't make mention of this on their instructions so who's really to blame?

Wish I would have seen this video yesterday before I installed them.. ugh. I put mine all the way up. Thank god my mirror trim doesn't pop out (yet) though.

can anyone tell me if these visors will help with headliner harmonic that sets up with the windows open at speed?

Yep, i often let my windows open a little bit so that hot air gets out while the vehicle is parked under direct sun. If i move the visor too high, theives will notice the open windows .. if i put it too low, i become claustrophobic.. i will probably install thent the avs way.

I also hated how they looked and never installed them. Sent them back. the rear one just made no sense to me and looked like it was made for another truck.....
