Mavs went to the finals. They lost the finals due to shooting and not defense. They upgraded… Naji >/= DJJ, Grimes > Green and Klay > THJ on offense and defense. I see a good team that got better and didn’t overpay for an aging star… Bertans made $16ML a year as a shooting specialist… Dallas got one of the best shooters of all time for that price… the last thing to go I shooting.

Who was their third scorer they could depend on for double figures? Klay averaged 19 ppg off the bench and like 17 ppg as a starter. Even if Klay is Slow, he still has championship pedigree, can still shoot and doesn’t need the ball and will put in effort on defense.

There were multiple games this year when Klay scores under 7 points with less than 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 30+minutes while getting smoked on defense. He’s literally washed✌🏿
