We speak good English in Nigeria. At least, a good number of people here, we were colonized remember? The only reason why they mostly don't use just English in our songs is to retain that Afro vibe😎

There is also more than 100 tribes and 250 languages. Nobody understands the other so we use broken English to communicate in the zoo. Nigeria is a zoo. A contraption that needs to be dissolved.

The Reason why some verses were short was because they wanna give the lesser-known acts on the label a lil more time to shine on the song. If you notice; Crayon, Magixx and Boy Spice got the most time because at the time they didn't have hit records. But now Crayon and Magixx have grown in popularity. Mavin records is owned by Don Jazzy (the fat guy in all black) and is arguably one of the biggest labels in Nigeria

You’ve obviously never listened to Marvin’s songs before, because it’s always been like that where nobody really has a whole “verse” everyone gets a couple lines to sing what they sing then it gets passed on, the format is more a way to get as many artists as they can on a song while it still sounding good and then one of the artists gets the main hook/chorus, or at least that’s how it was when I first listened to their songs with tiwa savage reekado banks even Don Jazzy would be on it back then now hes more of a co-sign on the songs since mavins is his
